they were married. he disappeared for over 30years. she has been waiting for him to return. that has been the premise of her whole story for 109 episodes. seon ju is not his child and i dont believe so woo is his child either but some woild disagree with me about the latter.

it is so sad that Do Hee’s last days are spent in such sadness and humiliation at the hands of nutty mom. she never once ASKED any questions, just assumed and slapped her right off the bat. instead of speaking up, do hee also marked her own fate. why do these characters never, ever open their mouths and speak truth! sorry but i woild have slapped that witch back.

She had refused to leave where she is currently living because it was the address she left at her old town that she and soon ae came from - in case he ever returned and was looking for her - he would know where to go.

if he is that will make it an awkward family tree - jin ju and he will be siblings - and seonju is jin ju's sister - legally (or by family registration) - this means one will need to leave the home and be registered elsewhere - which is a possibility for her and tae sang - unless so woo is related to them too. man, what a mess this has become.
