I wanna hope, I even wrote an appreciation comment above about them cause I am always complaining and I don't want to associate my favorite ship in the series just with complaints.

I completel agree. I love Kim because he is mysterious but he can be too mysterious at times and the fact that we don't get much of his POV does not help the viewers understand his thought proccess or his motivations.
Vegas, Pete and Kim are the most mysterious characters in the series,they are all exciting but I wish we knew more about Kim. Like today we got to learn so much about Vegas that added to previous information about him in previous episodes. But what about Kim?

I am mostly complainng about the lack of VegasPete content but here is an appreciation comment of how they handled their arc so far and how think they wil handle it further xD ( I am bored so spare me spamming the comment section with essays)
One of the charming elements of this story is that their romance was unexpected. Both in the book and in the series. but in the series they did a good job of dropping hints that something is going to happen between them. They built a foundation that they continue to explore further. Slowly their whole story will unfold and when we remember earlier scenes we will see all the clues and the foreshadowing.
We've seen that Vega has more than one face, what's his real face? It's hard to tell, but it's possible he's mixing hints of truth into his lies, but so far he doesn't seem to be carried away by the truth hidden inside. He will do what is necessary and we have seen what lengths he will go to in order to achieve his goals. Which means he won't let his emotions get the better of him, his dark side prevails. He also seems to have no sign of guilt for what he has committed so far. On the contrary, he's enjoying all the chaos and pain he's creating around him.
Now here comes Pete. Pete has invaded Vega's personal space where Vega doesn't have to play nice and be diplomatic. Right now he thinks Pete's in an extremely disadvantaged position, where Vega has no reason to pretend. It's his game, and he has nothing to gain from Pete other than venting his anger. This is where the foreshadowing comes in. He said he'll hurt Pete so much that he'll remember it, and then this same line will come back to haunt him. Because his problem will be exactly that .Pete will remember, so by then, Vega will be so lost in his feelings for Pete that he'll regret his previous words. He will wish the opposite, that Pete has no bad memories associated with him.
I am back after arranging my thoughts about today's episode.
Let's start with the negatives. Kinn is a terrible mafia boss, I know the series overall has a lot of plot holes since the novel is not the best written , it really feels like a fanfic. Actually, I have read fanfics with a far better writing. However, there is something addictive about this series, it is entertainining and if you switch your brain off and immerse yourself in the characters you can enjoy the journey. Also, the cast is awesome and it is the main reason I watch the series. But even if I overlook some plot holes some things are just very much into your face to ignore. Like you seriously gonna cover up Pete's disappearance by making Kinn feel as if he forgot something? Is one of the leader bodyguards a luggage you forgot at the airport? Kin was the one who gave him the mission and a few hours later he forgot about it? If that's the number one candidate to be the family boss then all the family business is screwd cause Kinn is busy screwing Porsche. I have rarely seen Kinn do something that relates to his mafia environment. Most of the times in the past he was busy having sex with his toy boys. Now , Big is dead and Pete is missing but he did not show any feelings concerning Big's death, and Pete just completely slipped his mind. I also need Kinn to start actually communicating, I am tired of him resolving everyting with sex. Porsche is at fault too for not calling him out on it. No matter how hard they try to convince me, Kinn is not made to be a mafia boss. LITERALLY ANYONE else would do a better job. How am I supposed to be convinced that Vegas comes second to him when the mafia plot returns on screen whenever Vegas is on screen? Because some people might misunderstand me, I am not hating on Kinn himself, even tho he has some annoying traits. But his character is very poorly written for a mafia boss. And don't get me started on his big plan. I said this last week, but him pretending to believe Tawan was so unecessary. Tawan was the one at disadvantage , yet somehow he was given permission to act as if he is the boss. Another thing is that I would like Chay and Porsche to have a more proper and personal conversation. Chay was suddenly abducted, he has no idea about Kim's indentiy, neither does he know about his brother's job. This could be such an impactful scene between the two brothers but it went to waste. I would like it if the focused more on Chay's feelings about learning the truth.
Now moving on to the postives of the episode. Pete is too hot when his bodyguard mode is on. Okie now that I got that out of my chest let's talk more seriously xD.
Tankhun is one of the few people with a brain in the main family. I have said this a thousand times and I will say it again. Just make him the boss. He is always aware fully of every situation around him and he is not afraid to speak his mind and state the truth. While others are busy hiding behind their fingers, Tankhun is calling everyone out on their bullshit.
Now I would like to talk a bit about Kim. I seriously can not read him at times. For instance, last episode when Chay confessed I thought he was going to distance himself from him but he kissed him instead. Today we saw them cuddling , Chay was full of happiness and excitement and Kim was laying down on the couch with a complete blank face. Then a few moments later he decides to leave. I guess he got carried away by Chay's confession and once his senses came back he decided the right thing to do is to keep Chay away from him. Especially now that Chay became a target once.
Concerning Porsche, I was proud how he adressed Kinn's mistakes and demanded an apology,which he never receieved though. I am annoyed at Kinn mostly but Porsche should stop forgiving Kinn that easily or else the same trust issues will be coming back. Big literally died because of their trust issues and no one shade a tear, the next moment they act as if it never happened. Yes it is the mafia and they are used to people getting killed and blah blah blah, but was not Kinn the kind of Boss that cares about his employees? Well I do not see him caring that much neither about his emplyees nor about Porsche . He left Porsche in the dark about his plan and then demands an apology, and when he can't argue with words he just solves the problem with sex.
Now we reached my most awaited part of the episode of which I craved for more and I was expecting it would be the focus of the episode. Of course that is vegasPete.
Pete using a hacking device to crack the code was much more belieavable than him guessing the passward like he did in the novel lol. But anyways , the important part is when he is faced with Vegas. Vegas' was already mad that his plan was messed up and Pete was one of the main reasons that things did not work out as Vegas wanted. Since Vegas took of his nice mask and revealed his true colors to everyone we know that he is not going to hold back at all. His smile when Pete was electrocuted demonstatred perfectly how much pain makes him feel alive. He enjoys it when people are in pain, he enjoys it that he is the one inflicting the pain, He wants to feed off their fear and misery, their desperattion. The thing is Pete was also smiling during all of this which not only made him seem as creepy as Vegas, but it also took Vega's enjoyment to another level. He must be seeing it as a challenge. He wants to take away all of Pete's strenght. He wants to mess with him both phsysically and mentally. Right now, Pete is nothing more than a toy, maybe an interesting toy because of his unsual reaction to torture in contrast to other victims of Vegas, nevertheless he remains a toy in Vegas's eyes. His purpose is to utterly destroy Pete to let his anger out before he decides to go after Kinn again. Little did he knew ,that this time things will be different and Pete is the one who will mess with everything Vegas has stand for until now. He will be the one to destroy Vegas instead. But he will destroy him in a way that he will make him feel reborn and liberated from the demon he currently is.He will ruin Vegas' view of the world and make him see things from different lens. That's when his past cruel action will come into play and bite him in the ass. We saw to what lenghts he is willing to go to get what he wants which make it seem imposible to believe that this man is capable of even loving anyone beside himself. Why am I analyzing all of this? Because I am bored as my name suggests xD Vegas for me stole the perfomance once again. The series did a good job laying the ground for his multilayered personality. Vegas has a lot of sides and you can not tell which one is the true one and which one is false. This episode showed us that everything that came out of his mouth until now was a lie and there was nothing genuine in his actions either. It was all a plan to manipulate the people around him. We have seen him do that before in ep 7. Everyone to him is either a toy or a pawn. He will use people to achieve a certain goal and then he will easily get rid of them. In ep 7 he killed the italians after his job was done. He is determined to go to whatever extent to get what he wants, he can even fake love and interest as it was revealed today. He went to such lengths to achieve what he wants that he even proposed to Tawan, which made me feel kinda sorry. Not specifically for Tawan, but at the action of fooling someone to such lengths. It truly shows how cruel he can get. And that is what I love about him.
