It will definitely start this season based on the scenes from the music video. They used scenes of when Pete was in the bar and I am almost sure that scene comes after he escaped from Vegas. I am not sure tho if we will get their final confession this season, they might end it on a cliffhanger.

Yeah I agree, but I actually associate him with both red and green. He is a very jealous person and most of the things he does are out of envy towards Kinn. On the other hand ,red can symbolize anger and I think Vegas has a lot of anger in him since not matter what he does he is still second to Kinn. Red is also a symbol of passion and love and I believe the lighting in his scene will be red more often once Pete enters his life.
