I think the scenes with the chains was to give us an idea of Vegas' true side. That he is a sadist I feel they try to show us that Pete is a masochist through that one trailer of Vegas and Pete sitting in the bathtub. Vegas is choking Pete and I kinda feel like he enjoyes it but I can't be sure. I really wanna see how they will handle their storyline.

Ι also think they will tone it down but I don't want to turn Pete into a masochist I did not buy it in the novel and I don't think I wull buy it in the series either unless they handle it better here
Honestly if I did not know any better I would not have guessed that Pete will become the center of Vega's world based on the way the plot is going. I both hate and love their lack of interactions cause it's slowly bulidng up but we don't see it. Like in real life our soulmate may be right in front of our eyes but we don't see it immediately.
