Yeah I agree, I mean of course people can have different opinions but some comments just seem like hate comments instead of a different opinion and it really makes me wonder how can someone hate this much on the series, especially when it's not bad?

Concerning the love triange, most of people who watch dramas are used to them and they feel unecessary or unrealistic. This one tho felt really realistic to me and it wasd one of the few love triangles I actually enjoyed and made me feel different kinds of emotions.

I think you are right about your last point, it really depends on the pepple you meet and how you feel around, I can totally understand what you mean!

For me this was one of the few cases that a love triangle did not feel unecessary. In most series they create a love triangle that serves no purpose cause it is obvious who the lead will pick. While most of us knew that Shin Woo is the endgame the series did a great job at making us anxious and leave us guess who will actually be the endgame.

I kinda agree with you about Tae Kyung and his feelings for Da-on, but I think it's understandable that he liked him since Da-on was the first person he was close with. Shin Woo in ep 12 said it to Da-on too. '' He liked you cause you helped him adjust well and make friends''. So I like to think that Tae Kyung had a huge crush on Da-on because of that but with Shin Woo he came to realize what being in love really feels like.

I honestly have no idea either why there are so many negative comments about the series lately. Especially after seeing all the positive feedback while the series was still on going. Personally, this is one of my favorite bls and my favorite Korean bl. I think the execution of the story and the acting were really good. I enjoyed every moment of the series so I ended up re-watching it many times and I am still not tired of it.

Light on me is one of the few series that handled the love triangle right and I loved how every character had depth and character development despite the limited runtime of the episodes.

As an awkward introverted person I think people don't change that fast. He made friends but his qualities remained, maybe not to the same extend but they remained. I think it's realistic. I am a very anxious, awkward, shy and introverted person who is not good at making friends, yet in uni I somehow made lots of friends and we formed a big group of friends. I am more comfortable with my friends in comparison to people I don't know well but my qualities are still there.
However, it is very possible that Tae Kyung is on the spectrum, it was never mentioned in the series tho so we will never know I guess.

I don't know why there are so many negative comments now, when the series was still on going there were a lot of postive comments and many people were hooked to the point of visiting the comment section here and making theories.

As for Tae Kyung, some people do believe he is autistic but I don't know, I think he is super introverted and because of that he is also awkward since he was never engaged in any social interactions, but he may be on the spectrum of autism too, who knows?

I just feel so sorry for him. He has to maintain that image of the perfect son, he never complains about anything and he seems understanding, just like when Pat's dad badmouthed him but he said he did not mind it, his eyes were saying otherwise tho :((

Exactly, they are so immature. We should respect servers and waiters and not make things harder for them because of personal grudges. If they don't like him they should just leave him alone, especially when he is working, but they are immature jerks.

I remember watching this YEARS AGO. I had fun watching it, it's a nice movie to watch, just don't take it too seriously.

I love Pran's friend group, they seemed supportive when a man was hitting on their friend, they did not tease him because of the possibility of being gay, they just teased him in a way friends tease each other when they have a love interest. They really seem great.
On the other hand, I don't like Pat's friends. They just seem a bunch of jerks who fight over silly things and have fun harassing people. The way they kept knocking at Pran's door and yelling thinking he was a girl did not sit right with me. If it was an actual girl she would be terrified. They really don't know any manners.

The plot might be cliche and unoriginal but the execution is nice. Two eps in and I am already hooked. The best thing it's the chemistry between the actors and the acting skills of Nanon and Ohm. I haven't cringed at any of their scenes, they really are doing well so far and I think they will continue to do so in the upcoming eps as well.

I totally agree, it felt weird to see the crown prince give up, it was unsatisfying and disappointing. My man risked his life countless times and proved himself to be a great leader but in the end he just gave up for no reason. What for? does not make much sense.

It was just a theory, I really want the kid to be fine and healthy but I want the crown prince to take the throne, after everything he went through seeing him give up on the throne left a bad taste to my mouth.

Same! Light on me will always have a special place in my heart but Bad buddy seems promising enough to tone down my obsession over LOM. I need a new show to obsess over and I think bad buddy fits the bill. I just can't wait for the next episodes, now I have one more reason to look forward to Fridays!

I was thinking the same, that this series might help me get over light on me. Yeah, I also still think about this series. Shin Woo has my heart and Pat's stares at Pran reminds me of the way Shin Woo used to stare at Tae lol.
I am really hyped for this series cause it seems really romantic and the chemistry is off the charts just like in light on me.

The chemistry in this one is insane and it is just the first episode. Another bl that seems really promising. I think I am gonna love this one a lot.

It's only been two months since it endes so most likely ,If there is a season 2 the announcement wil be in 6 months or so.
