I think both Da-on and Tae have a bit of selfishness. The most selfess character is Shin Woo and next to him is Namgoong.

By no means I meant that Tae was nice to Shin Woo because of Shin Woo himself. He did it because he wanted friends but even so if someone was mean to me I would stop making efforts. Tae believed what the others members told him about Shin Woo being nice and tried to get closer.

About Da-on and Tae, yes Da-on was the one who needed time and support. Tae wanted to give him support but how is he supposed to do that when Da-on does not give him the chance? He did not give anyone the chance to support him let alone let Tae be there for him. That is the main reason Tae was mad. The other was because he wanted an answer but got nothing. Da-on could ask for time and Tae would gladly wait as long as needed.

Let's see it that way. You confess to someone, they leave in the middle of the confession. Then your relationship gets exposed, they avoid you yet you are worried about them to the point you don't eat and starve yourself. Then when you meet the other party they tell you they did not think of you at all and they don't even give you an opportunity to be there for them What else can Tae do?

I am not blaming Da-on cause it is normal to act like this but I can't blame Tae for acting that way either.

No he was worried about what Da-On was going through. I have explained it above and I shall say it again. Tae said that all day he was thinking of Da-on.
Shin Woo Said that Tae did not even eat because he was worried if Da-on had eaten anything. He was not worried about his answer, he was worried about Da-on. But did he want an asnwer? Yes he did want an answer too. Just because he wanted an answer does not mean he was not worried about Da-on. He also had every right to want an answer because Da-on left in the middle of the confession. That happened before the photo was spread and before Da-on was outed. If he was not ready to give a clear answer he could just say he needs time. Why Tae has to be the only one to understand Da-on and not the other way around too?
You know what's the difference here? That Tae does think of himself and about Da-on but Da-on during the whole situation thought only of himself.
I don't know why you think that Da-on is the only one allowed to be selfish and when Tae does it he has no right to. For me both have their reasons to act the way they do. They are not perfect, they are both teens who just started discovering themselves and expore relationships with others,

Tae said to Da-on that he was a bad person because he did not let him be there for him. Tae really thought of Da-on all day. Let me remind you that he said Da-on is a bad person ( I explained why he said that) but despite that he still likes him.

Tae had every right to reject Da-on's effort of getting back together. They are both teenagers and have the right to feel hurt as they discover things about themselves. Da-on thought about himself when he was outed. Tae thought of himself when Da-on started pushing him away even more. It is normal behaviour. Neither is selfish. Is Da-on the only one who has the right to think about himself?

About Shin Woo and Tae, I don't think that wanting friends is selfish. All humans feel the need to interact with others and make connections. How is that selfish? That is only human. He wanted friends so he was nice to him. No one would go out of their way to change a person's opinion on them if they did not want to befriend them.

Also him helping Shin Woo with the bullies was an act done out of pure kindness. He did not have any reason to help him. Shin Woo was mean to him, they were not friends, but he still went out of his way to help.

Tae is not perfect but he is not as selfish as you make him out to be.

I respect your opinion and I don't want to start a fight here since it is been a while since I saw a comment section with heahtly comments, but I wholeheartedly disagree.

When the picture spread all Tae did was to think of Da-on. He said it himself. Of course it is natural for Da-on to think of himself at a moment like this since he was not prepared to face all of this, I don't blame him. Tae's problem was not that Da-on thought about himself, he had not problem to wait for Da-on, he got hurt because Da-on would not even allow him to wait for him. And just like Da-0n deseves his time and is allowed to be hurt so does Tae.
I think Shin Woo expressed into words the feelings of Da-0n and Tae perfectly in ep 12.

As for your comment about Tae not doing anything for Shin Woo, that is not true, At first Tae was kind to him and tried to be friends with him, it was Shin Woo who was mean to him. Even after Shin Woo told him some mean things Tae helped him that time with the bullies.Tae even tried to make other efforts to become close to Shin Woo but because Shin woo is not good with words he misunderstood and that is why he was surprised every time Shin Woo was kind to him.

A selfish person would not try time and time again to be close to someone who is rude to them and even try to help them in a serious situation. A selfish person would not say that is willing to wait for you until you sort your feelings out.

The way Shin Woo was looking at Tae while he was eating spicy food lives rent free in my mind.
He did not know if he should be impressed or worried.

Shin Woo did not lie when he said his favorite movie genre is romance.
No wonder he is so romantic and his confession in today's ep made my heart jump out of my chest. It was more romantic that any '' I like you'' I have seen in most romances.

I definitely hear you too. I don't know your age but I know the older and the more different you are the more difficult is the dating game. Made me realize that at the end of the day what matters the most is to be content with ourselves and each day to work harder to be better.

I am not asexual but I do crave for affection in relationships. Sadly this is not what most people are searching for nowadays.

I see your point but realistically in a situation like this you can not help but to take sides. Some things can not be excused. If anything Da-on deserved to be comforted because of what she did. Even if a friend of mine exposed another friend of mine out of jealousy I would not consider them a friend anymore. I am glad Da-on decided to cut ties with her. She thought he would not do anything because of his kindness. All this time she was taking advantage of him because of how nice he is. She is manipulative and then she thinks she deserves pity. She is not getting any pity from me.
She can not pull all this and the play the victim card. What about Da-on's, the real victim, feelings?
