I was asking myself the same thing 🤔 but Shin Woo had a jacket on. I thought it teletransport itself back to…
''teletransport itself back to Shin Woo'' lmao. This made me laugh but I don't think so. Shin Woo is wearing the school jacket. The one he gave to Tae is a black one and probably belongs to him, it does not seem to be part of the school uniform.
We have not seen this scene yet and whenevre I watch the mv this scene makes anxious. Here is my theory. Seems…
Yeah you are right about a second season if the reception is good. But maybe they already planned to have a season 2 and decide to realease it if season 1 gets good reception? But I don't want an open ending then in this case. I would love a second season set in college but I would like a proper ending for now T_T.
Because it's been 11 episodes already and the slow burn is killing us lol
I know what you mean, it is a romance and a teen drama but it could focus on friendship at the end. Just because it is romance it does not mean there has to be a couple by the end of the series. Or maybe they will imply in the skiptime that Tae starts to fall for Shin Woo and live it open and kinda hopeful at the same time.
I don't know, I am just talking about possibilities. Of course Shin woo and Tae can end up together too ( And I am crossing fingers that they do)
Well, I can save you time. Shin Woo is 100% endgame which was made clear in the first 30 seconds of the show when…
Well the romantic lead can be nice from the start even if there is no need to rescue the character. There are the friends to lovers trope too where the main leads have been friends from the start so they alreeady know each other. Most of the times tho the meeting of the main couple is more memorable for entertainment purposes. Shin woo and Tae sure had a weird first meeting even if it was not their actual first meeting.
I agree with you about focusing more on Da-on x Tae instead of Shin woo x Tae when they are supposed to be the main couple. This is also one of the reasons people are worried. 11 out of 16 eps and Tae has a more established relationship with Da-on. It would not make us doubt things if there were more eps, 20 eps for example. Maybe they are planning a season 2? a rushed ending? an open ending? maybe they know how to wrap things up in 5 eps? I don't know and I am anxious.

Well for me the possibility of no endgame is bigger than the possibility of Da-on x Tae Kyung. Yes Shin woo and Tae are the leads so the story could be about their unrequired love towards their love interest ( Tae's love for Da-on and Shin Woo's love for Tae). Just because they are the leads it does not mean they are endgame, I think that is another reason why people get worried.
We have not seen this scene yet and whenevre I watch the mv this scene makes anxious. Here is my theory. Seems…
I realy hope it is a flashback and that scene of Tae trying to pat Da-on makes me anxious as well. At this point I am overthinking everything. What if the story is about unrequired love? Tae's unrequired love for Da-on and Shin Woo's unrequired love for Tae?
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E74UykQVoAEn60R?format=jpg&name=largeumm have we seen this scene yet? i think we haven't…
We have not seen this scene yet and whenevre I watch the mv this scene makes anxious. Here is my theory. Seems that Da-on got a drink for himself and Tae, maybe they are making up and Tae is happy about it but now he sees Da-on as a friend. Shin Woo might not know that Tae's feelings have changed so he seems sad for once again. Makes me think that Shin Woo will give up on Tae to let him be with Da-on and that is when Tae will confess to Shin Woo. As I said this is just my theory. I am trying to comfort myself whenever I have doubts that Shintae is engame,
Well, I can save you time. Shin Woo is 100% endgame which was made clear in the first 30 seconds of the show when…
''The person who doesn't like the lead is always the endgame. '' I know what you mean, that is a trope used very often but there are always exceptions. The reason why some people are anxious about the endgame is because of the relationship development between the characters so far and because Shin Woo's personality fits more with that of a second lead. Unlike most leads who are ''mean' to their love interests and get nice to their love intrest when the situation requires it or when the end is near, Shin Woo started showing his true colours pretty soon. Since the end of ep 3 to be exact when he was protective of Tae. In ep 6 he was not mean anymore and was trying to express himself more in every ep.
There are definitely romances ( both straight and bl) who have a male lead who is nice from the start. Yes they are not the majority of dramas but they do exist.
Also this is the first time we get a bl series from Korea which can be considered on par with straight romcom since it has 16 episodes and a well written plot so far. So I can understand that this is one more reason to be anxious cause it is not like the usual bls we have seen from Korea so far.
I am team Shin Woo but I do not see Tae and Da-on's scenes as a waste of time. They are important for their character development. They need to get through this to understand themselves better.
Me: I can not love Shin Woo more than I already do A new ep: hold my beer
How does Shin Woo manage to make me love him even more in every episode? He is one of the most selfless characters I have seen in a story in a while. So many thoughts are going through my head right now.
There are many hints that shows us that Shin Woo is endagme. Their first meeting, Shin Woo having a crush on Tae from way back, the keychain, the lyrics of the song ''Spark'', the fact that we see Shin Woo's thoughts and perpective. On the other hand his whole personality screams second lead syndrome. I hate how selfelss he is cause if he gets hurt I will be hurt too. He is an angel. He is the kind of guy who will wake up too early to go to the school which is 40 minutes away from home to clean for you. He is the type to go to a neighborhood far away from home just to feed a stray animal he has never seen before. He is the kind of guy who will give you space when you need it but always let you know that you are not alone. He will always be there to take care of you.He is the type to give advice to his love rival cause seeing his loved ones happy is what matters to him. He knows his place and will not overstep his boundaries. He gives Tae and Da-on the time and space they need to figure things out while he is suffering in silence.
All of this makes me think, Shin Woo is such a sweetheart and is there for his loved ones, but is there anyone for him when he is suffering too? Tae Kyung said in today's episode that he was thinking of Da-on all day, he was worried about him. Tae Kyung is another selfless individual. He would always put his loved one first which makes me think he would be a perfect match for shin woo if he ever starts seeing him in different light.
I see many people being excited because of what he said in the preview for ep 12 .'' Go after him or I will go''. This actually makes me anxious, cause that is the line of every second lead ever. And we all know how it ends for the second lead.
Talking about second leads though, I realized why I love Shin Woo. He reminds me of a second lead from a shoujo manga I used to read as a teen. That boy, just like Shin woo, was caring, shy, introverted, took care of his love interest from the shadows and even gave her up so she could be with the guy she liked for so long. However in the end the girl realized that the guy has always been there for her and she fell for him and his kindness. I think something similar will happen here too. Or at least I hope so.
I know this is a fictional story and characters and I should probably not overanalyze it this much. I think I got addicted lol but I can not help it. I fell in love with the show and Shin Woo. Now my standars in guys are even higher and now I know I will stay single forever, unless I find a Shin woo or a Namgoong ,cause Namgoong is an absolute king in every episode. He is the best friend anyone could ask for.
If anyone read all that then Thank you for your time.
Can I ask about what doubts that you had? I agree about 20 episodes as we finally have a korean bl with more structure…
hahaha It is okay. We all can make spelling mistakes, that is why editing exists 😉
I am all for Thai bls too but I have gotten a bit tired of the similar plots and toxic relationships. Tho they do have great bls as well (theory of love remains my favorite thai bl next to I told the sunset about you and he is coming to me). Thank god now they are improving even more and we got some good quality content. Taiwan as you said it does a great job and I think Philippines is stepping up their game. ''Like in the movies'' is one of my most favorite bls ever. As for make our days count no one wants to talk about that ending really T_T.
I saw that no one adressed it either so I needed to comment about it lol.
He gave it to Tae but I don't see him wearing it. WHERE IS THE JACKET TAE?
I would love a second season set in college but I would like a proper ending for now T_T.
I would like to see Tae confessing to Shin Woo first cause I don't want Shin Woo as a rebound T_T
They really have made us overanalyze every little detail. I am hooked.
Maybe they are planning for a season 2? So season 1 could have an open ending then?
I don't know, I am just talking about possibilities. Of course Shin woo and Tae can end up together too ( And I am crossing fingers that they do)
