After reading the first chapter of the new novel in a better translation, I am here to continue with my era of slandering novel Vegas and Porsche.
First of all, I am more disappointed in Porsche than I am in Vegas. What kid of friend shoots his best friend and then drags the lover of his friend away leaving the other person wounded and alone? It makes me laugh how concerned and worried he acted when Pete came back after escaping Vegas. I am upset at how Pete is treated. Especially in the novel. He is getting tossed around as if he is some kind of toy. Kinn forgets that he ever assigned him a job, Porsche acts concerned but uses him as a payment to team up with Vegas, and the fact that the only person wo cares enough for him is Vegas makes me wonder how lonely Pete truly is. Vegas is the person that hurt Pete the most by torturing him and giving him trauma. And that is the fact that make their relationship complex and flawed. But it upsets me even more how Vegas keeps Pete in the dark. It is as if everyone underestimates him and they forget the fact that he used to be the head bodyguard. Especially Vegas ,he should know how strong Pete is. Was it not Pete's strengh one of the reasons he fell in love with him? I know he probably wants to keep him safe. People tend to want to protect those close to them , but for me trust is another sign of love. No one likes to be left in the dark or feel left out. Everyone would feel betrayed if the people they love hid things from them. I know it is invevitable in some cases, as in Porsche's situation for example, it must be harder for him to confide in Kinn about taking down Korn. But I want Vegas to stop treating Pete as a weak boy and iclude him in his plans. Pete does not exist only to fulfill his desires for sex and affection. Couples are supposed to be together through thick and thin. If BOC makes a second season I want Vegas and Pete to be a team, I want Vegas to trust in Pete's abilities and work with him. I want them as partnes in crime, in my book that is how strong relationships work. They work based on trust.
Not KP related but I just learned on Facebook (indirectly) the publisher I'm working for is closing at the end…
I am very sorry to hear this bby. I know it is hard times you are going through right now and it might seem hopeless but I wish that things will get better for you sooner or later. I know when you have connections it is easier to find a job but I believe you can find something else even if you don't have many connections. When a door closes another one opens. Best of luck from a translator ( well I have not gotten my degree yet but I hope I do soon) with social anxiety as well.
I am so upset 😭 I wanna see a badass couple working together, not Vegas treating Pete like a fragile toy used for his needs.

Like is cooking not allowed in this household?
The way Vegas pays attention to Pete and how he feels says a lot about him as a character and his feelings towards Pete
