Well, I enjoy engaging in meaningful conversation, so I was just a little bit baffled by that response xD But I wasn't offended or anything :D It takes more than that to rile me up

I never claimed my opinion as a universal truth though?? You said, it would alienate audiences, I just said, that I enjoyed the way it was portrayed, as a counter. That doesn't invalidate the the opinion of those who didn't like it, both things can be true at the same time - I just wanted to offer my opinion on it.
Ep 2 is way better after it got out of documentary mode. I don’t know why they risk alienating audiences by…

Talay pisses me off almost as much as Lhong from TharnType did. He is definitely protecting himself at the cost of his brothers memories and sanity. What do you mean, throw away everything that isn't you or your parents? Those are Tao Sor's memories and he has no right to touch them. And all these lies! Everytime he is on screen I get more furious. And the Doctor is the same. Let's forget about the part that he shouldn't even be treating Tao Sor because of his personal connection to him through Talay - he is LYING to Tao Sor. What he did is highly unethical and he should - as many pointed out - lose his license for this. The fact that Talay lied about Kim and the Doctor backing him up makes me so mad. It was so obvious that Tao Sor didn't really believe his brother deep down, but when the Doctor joined in with the lies? When Daiji gave him his pictures, his memories, back, you could clearly see that he felt like he was losing his mind. Because everything he knew for a fact, kept contradicting with what he felt in his heart. It genuinely broke me to see him cry like this. A few people were saying, that Tao Sor should have been keeping a diary, and generally I agree, it's also what most people with his condition do, but in Tao Sor's case, he didn't feel like he needed to. He probably didn't even consider it. He had photos of him with his family, and Talay informed him of what was most important - he had no reason to doubt his family. I actually undestand why he didn't have a diary. He should start one now though.
Talay infuriates me. He treats Tao Sor like a child, who can't make decisions on his own. But he can, he is an adult. He may not remember, but he knows very well, what he agrees to and what the consequences are going to be.
Kims uncle and cousin are also making me incredibly angry. The way they treat Kim like an outsider, even though he's family, is terrible. They know what day it is, and even if they don't exactly know, they can guess why this day would be important to him, and yet they dismiss him like that.
And I also know that they are going to blame Tao Sor falling into the water on him. But Kim didn't do anything. First, he had no idea the boat had issues. Second, Tao Sor jumped into the water to get his paintings (not very smart). None of this is sth that Kim could have predicted, but they are still going to blame him. I hate this so much.
Zhang Jun-jia gives me the most intense cutness aggression I have ever felt towards a human. The inly thing comparable is the feeling I have towards my cats. Which makes it perfect that Xiao He has a cat and sees him in it xD
All these harsh critiques and the series has just started... I for one am just very excited to see TutorYim and the first episode looked so much fun. Sure, when it comes to writing and pacing, it doesn't seem to be the best, but idrc as long as they make it fun to watch. Amd so far it is, I couldn't stop laughing the entire time xD
I hope TutorYim get a proper Domundi series at this point, something like Khemjira or Love Upon A Time, a show where they can really showcase their acting.
This show requires patience. If u like vertical drama speed , it isn’t for you. But ep 6 is so full of love…
Ah ok, I misunderstood a little bit I guess. I thought you meant that people just found it too difficult to understand, which might be true to some degree, but I don't think it's what's turning people away from this.
I don't know if it was advertised as a great and grand love story, or anything like that, I just meant that this is what the BL label is implying most of the time, so people were expecting something more in tune with that. I do think that the BL label is wrong for this show.

I don't think it is about that at all. I think that - for most of the people who have an issue with this show rn - the problem is, that they went into watching this show with the BL label and this show doesn't really deliver on that front. It isn't really a great and grand lovestory, it is more like a cut from life.
It's because it's not really a BL series in the typical sense - I'd rather classify this as a LGBTQ+ series, since it is more about two gay men and their lives, rather than their relationship specifically.
Who is Taecyon? Everyone seems know and he kinda popular but i feel i don't know him at all even i'm in Kpop since…
Taecyon is from the K-Pop boy group 2pm under JYPE - he's also been in a lot of K-Dramas like KittyXOX (you could also consider this an American show) and, my favourite, Vincenzo. He is actually insanely popular xD
