so, there are two chains going in the comments one who hates bong su, and other who defends bong su. Idk why people are thinking this. Let's simplify things:
1. Is bong su evil? Yes. He admitted that himself. but does that make him unlikable, maybe to some people but not to me especially because of the way he acts. it's clear that his inherent character isn't evil. it's just that long time has corrupted his spirit which is getting better as he spends more time with all three friends. Fl is not the only one who is improving his condition. Every character is responsible for his change from FL to coach to 2nd ML etc. This is why i can't hate him.
2. Is his actions justifiable? NO. He wants to have normal life now that he is experiencing it and while it's sad, nothing can be done about it. He needs to cross over and peacefully if possible. There's no point in defending his actions since at the end of the day him possessing ML without consent and making his life hard is an evil thing to do. He really needs to cross over. and that's a happy end for him, he needs to realise that before he turns back to evil without any empathy. Hopefully he will.
3. Was his action to ward of the attack back to the shaman a bad one? NO. If he hadn't done that, idk about him but ML surely would have died. He just didn't know general would be the one to die, otherwise he might just have let ML die instead. i don't see any reason to question this decision.
4. If anything the most evil person here is Yeomhwa who is taking advantage of bong su and trying to manipulate him. Although i don't hate her either. She acts really weird at times for her to be considered a truly evil person. but yeah after all this she needs to be killed. her last chance was when she got to know about the coffin on her back but she still turned to her evil methods, now there's no chance of her having a happy end in my eyes.
When i read some comments i think i am not watching te same drama. they are really weird.
Just asking, if the genders were reversed and the dude acted so touchy and stalkery with the girl, would the reactions…
depends on how FL reacts to it. here also it depended on how ML reacted to it. you should try The Witch (2025) drama if you want to see how people react to ML in that. In that drama the situation forced him to be a stalker and a really hardcore stalker. People have mixed opinions on it but i for one loved it. it always depends on the intent and other person's reaction to it. as long as both things are handled well i don't see any problem in it but ofcourse this logic applies in dramas since it's fantasy, i don't trust real humans.
who tf is changing the profile pics of the actors/actresses. The previous image was much better. She is barely recognizable in this. change it back for god's sake.
The reasons why i should have found this frustrating:1. it has a love triangle which somehow becomes more complicated…
NO. Seong A was literally abandoned by her birth-parents. there was a whole flashback of that. And timelines doesn't match up either. if something like this happens i would be surprised and rather disappointed because it doesn't make sense. general sacrificed because she had guilt of not taking care for Yeom. Maybe with this she wants Yeom to finally reform herself which i doubt will happen now. Also Yeom has her baby's coffin on her back which can be seen by powerful shamans like FL and general so her being mother of FL really doesn't make sense. General literally said that her child is getting punished for her sins to make her suffer more.
it's insane that i feel for every character in this drama. it's like it has all the reasons to be frustrating…
The reasons why i should have found this frustrating: 1. it has a love triangle which somehow becomes more complicated after bong su is introduced, yet i love their dynamic. it's handled really well. 2. a rather clingy 2nd ml, i usually hate 3rd wheels. but man i love this guy. his decision in ep10 was really dumb tho but i can see why he thought of that. 3. normally i find overly nice characters like FL really annoying but idk how i like her in this. she is super nice to the point of being a pushover at times but she still knows to stand up in front of others so ig that's why i like her. 4. a villain which i should hate but i can't hate her idk why. 5. the characters i hate are ML and FL's birth-parents but since they don't have screentime i am good.
Sad for FL since her mother died. like i knew it was going to happen since ep1. it was giving those vibes but i really wished for her to live. somewhere in the drama i wished for her and both her daughters to live together, but that's impossible now... even if this gets a happy ending, honestly it will never be happy for me since mine got smashed to pieces in 10th ep. i know i was asking for too much but i would have really liked that. the villain really gives big sis vibes when she is with FL. i would have really liked her to reform.... Sad for me......
it's insane that i feel for every character in this drama. it's like it has all the reasons to be frustrating but i don't find them frustrating. It's such a well made drama.
At least contribute to the views if you're gonna be this whiny but still watch it?? LOL
i mean we are free to complain about something we like you know. like seriously i doubt anyone is here for this awkward action, if anyone is i salute to them. but this doesn't mean it's enough to stop me for watching this.
great start hope it doesn't get worse later because my expectations are high now. And Woo Tae Sik is mentioned as a main lead so i am assuming he isn't dead for sure??? or is he... i m confused.
i am all happy for GL and all but if they don't know how to do action part then just don't include it in the script. it makes me really awkward. like seriously i was rather looking forward to this but ngl it's not what i expected it to be. and there's more awkward action to come in future. i might just binge this after it completes skimming through the action parts... :(
no. because SL is being adapted by netflix. so i have some hope from this. OVR adaptation is just straight up…
yeah and that's why i have hope from netflix because sometimes they pull it off. it's like a rare thing but it's still there. i really hope they pull it off 🤞
If Omniscient Reader flops, then Solo Leveling Live will flop. If Omniscient Reader survives, then Solo Leveling…
no. because SL is being adapted by netflix. so i have some hope from this. OVR adaptation is just straight up bad ngl. i have seen some reels on it and that looks really bad.
