imagine 2 scenarios:
1. in the previous timeline ML being a trash married his ex wife for his own selfish greedy reasons. No pressure. and then i am pretty sure he barely even paid attention to her. now the ex wife married him for her own reason as well but family pressure as well. Still since he was under the control of their family she didn't mind it that much. But she didn't paid attention to him much either, he was trash so i understand. Then suddenly he wants divorce because he got the enlightenment that he is trash and needs to reform. The marriage means a lot to ex wife, since it was one of the things needed for her own goals, so ofcourse she is angry. she put up with a trash for years for this outcome? so she did what she did. ofcourse her father had a hand in it as well.
2. now in this timeline, she is set up on a date with a judge who seem to be righteous, but is late on his first date. tries to teach her basic manners and gets slapped. but then tries to get her attention as well. she gets interested him in, obviously he isn't trash rn so it's understandable. he for now is only seeing her for his own goals, but that might change. he works with her, spends time so she is getting attention, which she enjoys (which wasn't a part of their previous life, neither of them wanted it.).

so obviously i want them to end up together. what exactly is the problem here?

arrogance is not a flaw in my eyes as long as its not killing or anything. so yeah i hope they get together, even if she remains arrogant. i m pretty sure they way she used to behave in the previous timeline, there was a reason for it. They both were just using each other for their own purpose, never really cared about the feelings. ML himself was shocked to know that she used to be this talkative. I m pretty sure her family caged her in that unwanted marriage and when even that marriage was being called off, she lost it. it's not like she said anything wrong either, he was a piece of shit. the details might have been a little different but regardless. ofcourse she was not any different. i like bad/grey characters, so i m biased as well.

yes. so far the only girl interested in him romantically is his ex-wife and it will probably remain the same way. i would be disappointed if it didn't tbh. there's no real reason for others to se him in that light yet. he barely has any interaction with them.

he is indeed doing a great job here. i didn't like his older version tho. honestly he also has weird chemistry with ML ngl.

i have the most expectations from this. hope this becomes the best drama of the year.

so canonically according to the webnovel he didn't have any romantic development with anyone. but the drama is showing some sort of development btw him and his ex wife so my fingers are crossed. maybe just maybe. idk why writers would go through a development btw them just to tear them apart anyway. like seriously either don't give hope or don't take it away.
Anyway i know this isn't the focus of the drama but still, they were married previously for years you know.

weird take but i really hope he ends up with his ex wife again and she becomes a little better person. you know he was trash as well and he got the chance so he should try to give her a chance as well. she just seems to have grown up in a bad env., i hope he helps her. she has much more character than one dimensional FL so far.

Honestly 6.1 aint bad on imdb. But still if you like the cast and dont get triggered by details in the story you should try it. Its enjoyable. Not the best thing in the world tho.

i don't understand how and why IHY doesn't have dramas as FL. like wtf...... like no hate to krystal but IHY clearly outshined her at least in this drama. idc if its because of character writing or whatnot but she clearly did better. Krystal is casted as FL in quite a lot of dramas while IHY is barely even playing support role. Like is she not a fulltime actress or is she not getting the opp, wtf..

to a certain. extent true. i feel like a lot of characters outshined je hyuk. to me those charcters are : joon ho, je hee, captain yoo, captain yoo's brother, looney, the good gangster, Officer Paeng and the list goes on.

lol i thought i was the only one forwarding their scenes. i barely watched them together. honestly i liked the other couple tho. they were so good.

there are a lot of things. one this was clearly a message to never get into drugs. other one is that he wasn't getting proper treatment to begin with. he was in jail not in a proper healthcare centre. people might be able to get cured of addiction with proper treatment but just on their will really seems like a fairytale and false hope which shouldn't be spread. at least that's what the writer wants to convey ig. his mother is also at fault here. if she wanted to correct him so badly then why send him to jail. he wasn't distributing drugs, he was doing drugs, if she cared for him so much she could have just sent him to a Rehabilitation centre. They were loaded with money anyway. I hate her a lot tbh.
but regardless it does break your heart when you such an end to looney. he held on for so long.
