I wish they added these lines because it shows how much Chi Cheng loves Wu Suo Wei, so much that he didn't care for his original motive , he just asked him "Did you ever love me?".
Chi Cheng is so devoted to Wu Suowei that he puts up with all of his unreasonable thoughts and actions. While he didn't mind leaving marks on Wang Shuo, he couldn't bear to see WSW suffer physically or emotionally. As long as it's him, he doesn't even care if Wu Suo Wei breaks his heart.
I read the break up in the novel on sat and it broke me so much, I cried the whole night and the series just made me relive it again😭
I just want my parents to get back together by the next episode or next week at least 😭😭😭

Yes, and I agree that they omitted some aspects from the book, which is definitely for the best. I'm not comparing them at all, I'm just happy learning more about this series and the personalities of these characters.

This is so true, like imagine when you know that actually Chi Cheng is much much much more wild and freakier in the novel but those who are not reading the novel don't even know 2% of that side of him and that's just one fact from this series I'm talking about😭🫠

Yes, I also see that WSW enjoys suffering in the novel, which is also depicted in the series. For instance, in the scene where WSW learns that Wang Shuo has returned, he tells CC that he can go back to him if he wants. CC asks him why he says that and torments himself. I believe he feels bad about the Yue-Yue incident as well, which is why he doesn't talk to CC and instead suffers in his own thoughts. He seems to believe that he deserves it and he enjoys tormenting himself in his own thoughts because he fears that CC would abandon him.

Exactly, like in most dramas they are unnecessary breakups for no reason, this series actually shows their relationships in their raw form so much so that it feels so real and true and yes it will make them more confident and stronger in their love
It’s the way many romance shows often have the couple be all smiles and happiness and then BOOM breakup over random misunderstanding or reveal, but Revenged Love subverted all of that. It keeps putting pressure on our couple, so we see the cracks and strain and we just know that it needs only one sharp blow to break it.
It’s not the Yue Yue reveal out of nowhere, it’s piled on top of everything else. It’s the way they’re so hurt and struggling. They’re so consumed by their own fears and worries, they’re not seeing or listening to the other person. I can really see how post-divorce era, that they can rebuild so much stronger without all of WSW’s anxiety and CC’s unhealed wounds between them.Thats what makes everything in this series feel so real and true
Can anyone tell me when the waterbed scene in the novel is , I mean I almost read the novel till today's episode but there's no mention of the waterbed in it
This drama is the standard for me , no drama made me cry , laugh and wait so anxiously for the next episodes as this one , i stopped watching all the other ongoing dramas because it doesn't do it for me anymore 😭 I don't know what am I going to do once it's over When I'm sad , I watch revenge love when I'm bored , I watch the bts scenes When I'm happy, I read the novel When I'm upset, I go to watch the edits like it's so entertaining to do anything related to this series , I'm gonna miss it so much once it stops 😭😭😭 Now I only pray for Monday to come so I can see my Chi Cheng and watch Revenge Love.
