I'm pretty sure Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol had a similar thing where there was a break for a week and then the series resumes back again, i might be wrong
I absolutely love this show and i think i had started watching the show back in December 2020 having been recommended to watch from the start and not from the recent episodes. I have not regretted it since. There have been times where i've had a break and went on hiatus to watch other stuff. I've recently started watching it again and now on episode 388, i will eventually get there!
My recommendation is definitley start at the beginning as not only were the episodes hilarious, it's also the start and you get to see each member evolve and show their personas and characteristics. There will be some episodes where you may find boring however, I still watched them and sometimes forwarded them to get to the necessary scenes. But there are lots of funny episodes.
I'm watching in order as its easier to keep track of what episode I'm on, (it's literally on pen and paper, cross out the watched and write what ep I'm on next).

Hahaha defo! You won't be disappointed at all. It helps that The Kingdom series is not long with less episodes in each season in comparison to the usual K-dramas and that the episodes are shorter too! However, you still want more once you've finished the series (basically want it going everyday 🤣 as i loved the screenplay, cast, creativity etc. The same with tale of Nokdu).
