Key performances by the main three actors, combined with the great production team of sound and editing makes 'Strangers from Hell' an instant masterpiece for any horror and psychological television fans alike. Plot was so diverse and had layers of thickness to it that I've never seen such a show so well thought out before.
The pacing is also brilliant in each episode - it never drags, and has the right amount of violence scenes and more 'casual' scenes. This show is the first to give me proper goose bumps in a very long time, and some scenes made me so enticed that I truly believed I was in the show at some points!
Horror fans will love this show, also give it a try if you're into thrillers and basic crime dramas! This show is definitely not getting enough attention from what it deserves, watch this now!!

For a person who isn't into romantic K-Drama, I was honestly really impressed by this show, and I'm so glad I chose to watch it! It really made me go through all of the emotional stages episode by episode, I was honestly so hooked that sometimes I was unable to sleep because of it! It's that addicting!
At first, in the first and second episodes especially, I wasn't in the 'love' stage, as I felt some of the story and acting was a little sloppy, but the performances in the episodes after that truly made up for the first two episodes.
I have seen a recurring theme that most K-Drama only have on season and sixteen episodes, considering its now 2020, I don't think there will be another season, but I still strongly suggest to anyone who likes romance to watch this!

This was the first asian tv netflix series that I have watched which wasn't created in Korea, and I must say that I think I chose a great series! However, due to the cliffhanger of the last episode, if there is not another season confirmed, I think that it would become a damper and this first series and show in general to be considered irrelevant, but lets hope there is at least one more season of this great show.

I do believe in some parts due to my western culture there were "cringe" scenes, however, there are obviously "cringe" scenes in western movies which asian people will not enjoy.

As a whole though, this was truly greatly acted and the stories in the series were so good that I could definitely watch this season over and over again! I have never seen any of these cast members before as I am still new in this community, however, I would definitely love to check them out again, this is an obvious indicator in how well this show performed! I truly suggest everyone to check this show out and see what you think!

A second season is must needed however for a more detailed review, as then I will be able to have an exact opinion. This show is great though!

Great Stuff!

While some may find The Uncanny Counter confusing, especially if you haven't watched many dramas of it's genre, I believe that the majority will love watching this. A very heart-warming and emotional story that will make you feel any and every emotion? You got it. From happiness to sad, from anger to sorrow, The Uncanny Counter will make sure you experience a rollercoaster of different emotions.

A cast that really has great chemistry alongside an addictive OST combines this to be a must watch!

This is the greatest Kdrama I have ever watched and I know this because it has made me make an account on this website so I could tell everyone what I thought about this.

The Kdrama is so good that if you rewatch it, you might get too addicted too it, that’s the only reason I haven’t gave it a 10/10 score.

Everything from the twist and turns, casting, acting, music etc. Everyone needs to watch this Kdrama!

I’m just honestly hoping this isn’t the end of this amazing Kdrama, I could watch 20 seasons of this Kdrama if it continues this greatness, I’m honestly begging for another series asap please, that’s how good hyena is! You will love it!

Unpopular Opinion - I liked it!

Despite the very low overall rating of Love Alarm 2 currently - I personally really enjoyed it, and easily prefer it over the first season of Love Alarm. I like how Love Alarm 2 gives off more mature vibes, which I think was definitely needed in order for the story to progress. I would also like to point out that the OST is surprisingly sublime, meaning I will be listening to it on repeat, starting today!

It wasn't perfect, for example I did find some scenes quite cringe or irrelevant as they didn't really progress the story that much but overall it didn't hinder my positive experience on an overall scale that much.

While I do prefer Love Alarm 2 - I don't think there should be a Love Alarm 3 now. I'm only mentioning this because I feel like a Love Alarm 3 will happen - we shall see if my feeling becomes more than a 'feeling'!

Good Idea - Awful Execution

This is the first drama I have ever dropped unfortunately, as I do not continue watching a drama if it falls below a 5/10.
Now, what went wrong, for me at least? The idea was inventive and I liked it. But how should I explain Abyss in the most honest way possible?

Abyss is simply boring.

I don't care about the characters or what happens to them later on in this series. A 1 hour episode honestly feels like 2/3 hours long. Cringe script writing, awful acting at parts, mega-slow pacing at parts, too.

I welcome people to still try out Abyss, but don't say I didn't warn you. I feel you'll find yourself dropping it too.

Deserved the 'Starting Hype'

While I wouldn't say it's in my 'Top 10' of all time, I can say that Squid Game, unlike many other series, managed to deliver in it's hype which it had received since day one, providing top-notch production quality, sensational acting and character development, alongside a concept that was extremely interesting. One of the key things here, the character development, worked perfectly with the story theme: the fact that, in face of money, even your best friend can become your worst enemy if you need to survive etc.

Casting choices were absolutely perfect, and while I was the tiniest bit disappointed with the direction of the final episode (funnily enough the same sort of feeling I had with one of Lee Jung Jae's previous projects known as Chief of Staff) - I understand why it was done.

One other thing I really like about Squid Game is how easy it was to watch. I normally am not interested in re-watching dramas, but with Squid Game, I don't think that's the case - even when I know who survives and who doesn't. Two words: great writing. Here's another four words: check Squid Game out.

Don't "run" away the thought of watching this

Considering finding the first episode really slow, my enjoyment of Run On quickly changed to a really positive turn from that point onwards. Run On not only has the greatest couple I have witnessed to date, but also honestly just a really interesting and nice story. This probably doesn't make sense but I really took my time watching Run On because I actually felt sad if I went through the episodes to quickly, I wanted to "savour" them as much as I could! I wasn't too sure on the romance between the two main supporting cast, however by the last few episodes my opinion had also changed on this too. I just think the characters and the friendship between them, alongside the elements of sports and movie/translation made Run On a true masterpiece that will still be talked about in the next ten or more years.

The only one thing I didn't find much enjoyment from, which could have impacted it from receiving a 10 was the "character in movie" type scenes, they're hard to explain but you'll understand once they appear near the final episodes. Again, nothing bad, just a tad confusing.

Acting and chemistry was perfect alongside the OST, the OST wasn't too distinctive which was great because it was only used in important scenes, something which I think is better to have, compared to an OST which is overplayed throughout each episode. Don't do what I did and hesitate too long about Run On, trust me, you'll regret it. You'll love it, you'll love Run On!

Hot Stove League proves that sports dramas can work!

Just like my headline, Hot Stove League really proves that sports dramas can work when done like this! Hot Stove League made me like baseball, a sport that I never liked until now! A really good story and sub-stories mixed in with a really good cast that seemed to have perfect chemistry with one another right from the start in the first episode until the last second. Hour long episodes rarely feel like 30 minute episodes and the story make it such perfect material. A few members of the cast, actually perhaps the majority, I had not been familiar with but now I need to watch more dramas with these actors/actresses in! Well done, Hot Stove League! Bravo! Lets go Dreams! Go Dreams Go! Go Dreams! Dreams Go!

Pleasantly Amazing

Before watching HDL, I thought it wasn't going to be my "cup of tea". However, I was wrong, I was very wrong. HDL was amazing, fantastic, superb, wonderful in all the right bits and places. The first one or two episodes were a little slow, however, this is nothing new to me, as many Korean dramas seem that way, that's natural! But by the fifth or sixth episode, oh my gosh, I was so hooked! I loved every single character, the chemistry between the cast was phenomenal, and the storyline somehow had just the right amount of everything.

I'm not usually much of a fantasy-enthusiast but HDL may have drastically changed my opinion on the genre altogether and has made me become more aware of how great a fantasy drama can truly be.

Started Strong...

I still don't quite actually know how I feel about this one. CITT started out pretty strong and the final few episodes were pretty great, but it was hard for me to invest so much do to me not wanting the ML to end up with the FL. I would have preferred the second male lead to have ended being with the FL. Also, from about the third to tenth episodes, for me personally, jheez they were so slow and boring. There were positives however, mainly from the acting and the OST that came with CITT.

Honestly, I think everyone should try this drama out, however, I do think it's either going to be a hit or miss.

Surprisingly Amazing

WOW - a surprisingly amazing drama that anyone can easily love! I was very sceptical at trying this drama just due to the sheer hype - the synopsis I read felt like a cringefest but I am so glad it wasn't the case, this romance was anything BUT a cringefest.
Although unfamiliar with nearly the entire cast, after watching this series, I am wanting to watch all of the cast in other respective dramas they are involved in. The chemistry between each and every character truly felt remarkably amazing. The OST to this drama is also very addictive! A must watch drama!

Suits takes a couple of episodes to truly get in to, and takes a detour in the middle of the series with one or two lacklustre episodes, but the series as a whole is great to watch with a good story and great acting. I like the unpredictable twist and turns in the plot, too, which I hadn't expected to see from a legal drama like this one.
I was unfamiliar with nearly the entire cast so at first I was sceptical about it all, but truly great acting performances from the start assured me that at least acting-wise that this series would be good. I hope to see a second season for Suits (Korean Version) and I also hope to see these members of the cast whilst I embark more on the K-Drama journey. Overall, decent show, I suggest you to watch.

Is it about the journey or the destination?

Padam Padam is one of those dramas that gets you thinking about which is more important: the journey or the destination? No matter your answer, however, it still is a great drama that should be watched. It has 20 episodes, and actually, I think it should've been the usual 16 kdrama-length episodes, because episodes 17-20 were unfortunately my least favourite. I think Padam Padam is a drama with a great journey but eventually becomes a tad repetitive and too much of a 'slice of life'. However, episodes 1 to 16 were absolutely amazing.

The acting and OST were pretty much perfect, almost faultless. I really enjoyed the different types of characters and the mix of different genres in the storyline. I think the crime based storyline was my favourite but I still thoroughly enjoyed the other parts, too. I really liked the bromance and family-type friendship and bonds the character eventually came to have.

I wasn't a fan of the directing, and the English sub translation provided by Viki was unusually weak, but that gives me more motivation to learn Korean. On the positive side, I now have some new favourite actors thanks to these great casting choices, and I also have another great OST to add to my playlist!

All in all, I recommend Padam Padam.
