I usually don’t comment but this is pissing me off, I’m not even through the episode and I’m yelling at the screen. First, why the fuck do they even consider having another child. This is ridiculous. They don’t even live together and have just got back together. What about talking to Jerry‘s parents first?? Make them understand. This doesn’t make any sense! Second, the whole Matt thing is ridiculous as well. Handing him off to a „real“ man so he won’t want to dress as a girl anymore? Wtf! And there are still 15 minutes left. At this point I want them to go on a long break to clear both of their heads!
Guess I’ll be reading Childhood’s End next. Thank you Vegas for reminding me that it was on my TBR and on my shelves. Plus, he’s got this gorgeous edition from 1963! I’m definitely jealous now.

Well, after Vegas tortured Pete there’s no way they’ll be together. Or, knowing what people want, they shouldn’t be together. How do you forget that the person you’re with tortured you? So far everything’s been handled as realistically as the story allowed but this. This might be too big of a stretch to make it work. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy myself some twisted fucked up relationships but I don’t see it work in this context 🤷🏻♀️

Compared to the novel though this is nothing. The novel is on a completely different level of fucked up though. Couldn’t finish it. It was disgusting. So unfortunately it’s a rather tamer version of the novel. The potential was definitely there though and I’d like to have my own head canon about them
