Nangong Wan lost her power because she lost her Dao Heart, the part of her spirit that keeps her focused and strong…
I'm sure she'll be fine, she just needs to get herself on the right track and make peace with herself, like Han Li's master said. If you go back into ep 13 while Han Li's master is lecturing his disciples, the answer is there.
Do we know what exactly caused FL to suffer after-effects after an event in Ep. 12? Was it because she has dropped…
Nangong Wan lost her power because she lost her Dao Heart, the part of her spirit that keeps her focused and strong on her path to immortality. Her Dao (her chosen way to cultivate) was built on purity, discipline, and staying true to her beliefs and the Fling with HL went against those beliefs, broke her inner focus and shook her spiritual foundation, which made her lose her strength.
In simple terms: she had a clear path and strong heart, but the event made her doubt herself and her purpose. Thatâs why her power faded.
damn after ep7 I want cultivate with them ^^ any other drama where main lead join "academia" for cultivation?
Fights Break Sphere, Legend of Awakening, Douluo Continent, World of Fantasy, Sword Dynasty, Heavenly Sword and Dragon Slaying Sabre, and The Taoism Grandmaster
With regards to Yang Yang, I think we're lucky that his acting has improved a lot from his Martial Universe days.…
Well⊠there wasnât a dramatic tear filled moment when his best friend was turned into a puppet in the donghua either. Based on what Iâve seen so far, Yang Yangâs portrayal of Han Li (donghua version) feels pretty true to character.
Having experienced this story across its novel, manhua, and even live-action adaptations (currently airing), I…
Thanks for letting me know. If you say the quality goes up, I may give it a go. I may anyway, even if I don't like the animation, just for spoilers' sake. lol Just, right now in the 1st season of the donghua, the animation is really bland to me.
Is this like "be yourself" & "dominator of martial gods" or not?
Not quite like those dramas. HL isnât reborn or sent to another world. He starts out as a regular kid from a poor village and has to work hard to get stronger. He doesnât have special powers or knowledge at the beginning, and heâs not super full of himself either....at least not yet đ. You can tell he might get more confident later, though.
So yeah, itâs more of a slow and steady story than one where the main character is instantly powerful.
I would say this drama is more like Fights Break Sphere and Douluo Continent.
This show makes me want to watch the donghua⊠but I really donât like that style of digital animation. Does anyone know if the animation style ever changes beyond season 1? I wish it looked more like Lord of Mysteries. The live action seems close to the donghua, from what I have seen, which is nice.
Iâm watching The Immortal Ascension with Yang Yang. So far so good. Cultivation drama, If that's your thing, visuals look solid and well...Yang Yang â€â€
I think maybe they died again back in ancient times, maybe of natural causes this time? Nan Heng did say, âLetâs just keep changing our fate until the moment we die.â Then the story seems to reset to when she started filming with Nan Feng. Thatâs why we see that rewind right after the real scriptwriter finishes writing the script.
Itâs possible Nan Heng kept his memories during this âReset.â (glitch in the matrix) Out of jealousy toward Nan Feng, he might have somehow made his way into the modern world and transmigrated into Nan Fengâs body, like the fictional scriptwriter entered CGHâs father.
To me, this gives good closure if it ends as a single season, yet still leaves it wide open for a potential trilogy if they want to continue the story.
**edit to add** To elaborate further...It's like it is a dream within a dream within a dream. Because at the end they made the "Real" scriptwriter and Director Guo Hu part of the story. So are they implying they are fictional characters too, and the real god of fate (like Siming?) is pulling the strings? Maybe if they do a trilogy, the genre will be Xianxia.
LOL, episode 33 had me cracking up. When she translated âEverlasting Loveâ as âWhite Head Same Heart,â…
My biggest challenge in trying to learn Mandarin is its figurative nature. Unlike English, my native language, which tends to be more direct and phonetic, Mandarin often weaves meaning through idioms, tones, and cultural nuances. You say what you write in English. In Mandarin, you sometimes have to read between the lines, even when youâre speaking it.
