If you ask me, I think it's worth it. They fixed the AI premiere part. Whether it's good or bad you have to watch and judge. It's those types of shows where you either "love it or hate it." Being a Republican drama, there are various dark elements and a ton of angst and questionable characters but it's fast-paced and visually appealing.

Yeah I know its unfortunate but its a "love it or hate it" type of genre. I was getting ready to drop it after the AI crap but I'm glad I stuck with it thinking it's going to get better. Now we're almost to the finale. It's been a roller coaster of a ride for sure.

Great to know. I'm proud of the cast. They poured A LOT of emotions here, it's draining and you can tell despite the plot holes.

I hope these two lovebirds end up together, but I won't mind that they have this complex relationship where they are separated but taking care of the kid together since they are too toxic together. Susu is like 'air' and QingYi is 'fire', they combust every time they are together. Only in those 6-7 years apart were they able to find some normalcy. It's rare for me to say this but an open ending is probably fitting.

Sure is. By definition, a "hater" attacks your character out of jealousy or negativity. Focuses on personal insults, mockery, and disrespect rather than logic while constructive criticism offers helpful, specific advice to making everything better. Sounds like the former to me. But to my point, it might be losing debate since some are dead set on this topic. I'm just excited to see the finale this week.

Yes, FINALLY some rational viewers out there. Thank you! I don't have the energy for that. I'd drop it for sure so I'd let others watch in peace. If I was forced to finish it, I'd be like a total 'hater' mode too :-)

I'm not the one commenting on individual posts to tell them this. You're the one who keeps commenting on my post and "policing" my opinion here, ironically. So it goes both ways. Did I say it was a perfect show? No. I never said it's without flaws. No, Did I tell others to ask for my approval? No. Stop putting words based on your own terrible twist on it. Maybe that's just it, instead of stating why it's bad, it's just vague statements like "it deserves lower just because" and calling out on others who "cannot accept criticisms." Seriously? Another ironic take from you about "everyone having different opinions". You listening to yourself? Ok then, whatever. If you want to criticize the show so much, don't like others calling out the negativity and don't like my take on this, but clearly enjoy lingering here for whatever reason, then you do you.

Oh yeah, definitely far from a perfect show and has glaring character flaws and plot holes. I can't say for sure if this show deserves 10/10 since its still airing. I specifically made my own comment here cause I don't want to reply to individual posts to "police" others opinions, I was just calling out some who were actively scaring off potential viewers who were semi-curious if its that "bad." From your POV, rating it bad still means people are watching it, which is a reasonable take. I have my fair share of shows which I didn't enjoy but I don't go expending time/energy "lingering" around to tell others *repeatedly* how right I was about how "bad" it was and why others are still watching it, lol u know what I mean? For pete's sake, let others have the chance to judge after actually completing the show. Even like a neutral comment like "watch and see" is too much to ask these days lol.

Just so you know, there ARE toxic haters out there if you are uniformed that repeatedly saying "why people still rate it high, it should be lower than 6.9." Some mean comments include personal attacks on social media. I am not policing no one, I'm just calling out what I see here over and over again. If I don't like a show, I drop, rate after it's said and done, give a review section and leave if its not my cup of tea, I don't linger here trying to convince others not to watch of how "sucky" it is cause I didn't like it. That's just immature behavior and so yeah, I am calling out on this crap. FYI, I didn't like POJ but I don't go on a full-on bashing mode, there are people who are undecided about this show, robbing the chance to judge themselves by scaring them off, and the negativity here is quite overwhelming.

Yeah I bet these trolls didn't even bother watching it or dropped it early cause it didn't fit their ideals. This show is one of the best C-shows I've watched this year. I didn't like the first ep but stuck with it and I'm glad I did cause it's captivating and engaging. It's a total gem. I know it's not everyone's taste but no need to spread the negativity onto others who love the show. It's in and out of itself "Toxic" and seriously Annoying!

Another great episode today. Not sure why these obnoxious haters are just trolling here telling others that the low ratings are too generous and should be lower? Like seriously freakin' immature behavior? WHY are you still lingering here if you dislike it so much? I could give it over 10 if it balances the scale of negativity. Let others here enjoy the show!!!

I think both ZLH and WCR has an eye for scripts that showcases their visuals really well. I've seen both in ancient and modern, while they were both respectively pretty and handsome there. Having them both in the same Republican show is an added bonus cause they are so stunning here and really suit the classic wardrobe so well. Hands down one of the best ensemble ever.

They overdone it on the "dramatic" theme scenes, there is much to be improved but I think it's a pretty addicting storyline which ties all the characters together in a cohesive way. It's actually a pretty solid Republican show despite some overdramatic parts.

I know everyone is concerned about the dismal ratings but it can be further from the truth. But to supporters: continue to support until the end, the mature cast is doing a phenomenal job portraying the angst. To undecided watchers: give it a shot, the premiere sucked, its fixed and I promise it DOES gets better, fast-paced and never a dull moment. Keep in mind its a Republican drama so it's deep and dark, keep expectations grounded based on the genre and be in a roller-coaster of emotions. To those who dropped in silence, thank you for not spreading negativity. To loud haters who dropped, no offense but why are you still loitering here?

Nah. It's far from worse. I have to admit the first episode was pretty crap but then it keeps getting more interesting the more you watch and sort of grows with you. I'm excited for each episode. I'd say a majority of those naysayers are either POJ or ZLH's toxic fanbase. Is it perfect? Far from it but it's definitely not the worse. Ignore the ratings cause its doing quite popular otherwise.

So what's the deal with these POJ shippers, why are they bringing negativity to this show? Was that show so popular that it got to their heads that everything else is inferior? Superiority complex, no? Why spend so much time and energy on hating to bring down the ratings if it's of no interest? I honestly can't understand the mentality here. No offense, I was having a hard time motivating myself to not ff POJ, I was actually bored, not going to lie despite seeing the hype about it. I'm enjoying this show so much, it's kept me hooked in a long while. So maybe I have unique taste in show, but I would so love the idea of pairing WCR and ZLH again to spite these toxic fans haha.

I could care less care about these useless comments from his deranged immature loud fans. It's unfortunate that his fame has brought these dark type of negative obsessed fans. I watch shows if they attract my attention, it's never personal with me with actors/actresses themselves. Just pray they'll have their moment and leave. Just ignore the noise.

Body shame WCR? That's the most bizarre thing. They blind or what? Girl is a classic beauty, good body and facial proportions. in fact, one of the prettiest in her cohort and can act. Tell them to look at themselves in the mirror before they spew toxic sludge first. It just boils down the jealousy, insecurity and possessiveness. No way to reason with them, they are too far gone in their own bubble of delusions.

can go both ways. I found POJ couple overrated and bland but totally dig Overdo couple. Do I bash POJ? no, cause I'm better than that.
