Yes I am on the same boat as you. I felt that it lacked something and Sanada's story just felt flat and forced in the last 2 episodes to stir up the eventual breakup. It takes 2 to tango and it almost seemed like they both given up their relationship to go on their separate ways. 30 years down the future they almost seem like old friends/acquaintances meeting up for a drink. I guess the scriptwriter wanted a "realistic" view that not all romantic relationships pan out in the end. I liked it but felt a void there. It's a bittersweet ending. Wished there was a SP to show us more what happened between the time gap.

Final thoughts. I like how the ending tied up the loose ends and gave us somewhat of a good ending with a sweet kiss. However, I didn't like the ambiguous relationship in the future, they didn't really end up together as Maruya focused solely on work and became the CEO of the company. Why they reunite after 30 years later if they were both still in love? Why she decided to leave for research abroad if Maruya was the special one who gave her a place where she belongs? Why Sanada was so closed off and completely heartless to just break up like it's nothing by saying she isn't capable of being with men? He was the one always trying to change for a better future even if he knew his cuteness will expire and their breakup was inevitable, but it was not reciprocated much on her end even if she was robotic. I loved the development of Maruya, he was not a loser but became successful in his own right when he known that his cuteness was his only weapon. Enjoyed the storyline still and kudos to Yamada for his excellent acting skills.

Last episode was an hour long but I found the first half really dragging it. Happy ending but it felt rushed in the last 15 min. Overall great storyline and acting. So sad it ended and no episodes next Saturday.

Same here. I thought it was going to be cringe looking at the poster but I discovered the main leads here and the storyline is a good mix of comedy and romance. They are both so adorable and complement one another in acting and looks, especially when they stand next to each other.

I was hoping that we get to see a marriage scene but it probably won't happen with 1 more episode and preview. I don't mind filler episodes cause the characters are eye-candies. Season 2 please!

It seems we will be getting a one hour special ending next week. Only 9 episodes?! it's already too short with 30 min only! I don't want this drama to end. This is my Sat addiction. I hope our cute leads get a good happy ending (no open ending pls) :-(

I'm excited for the last 3 episodes but I don't want it to end. I think they probably wrapped up filming too. Sanada is different from Maruya's ex-girlfriends who like him for his cuteness only. She is attracted to his inner beauty and he is slowly seeing his self-worth. No offense to his 30-year future self, but I think they should have found a more convincing actor. Its going to have a happy ending, hope they get married and have a cute kid to break his curse. BTW Yamada's first work I've seen and he is really a good actor, he can emote so well in comedy and romance, he can sometimes act OTP but is not cringey at all cause he's just naturally cute .

I wonder why the two leads aren't promoting this show together more, they are rarely seen together but they have great chemistry and both are so cute next to each other.

Both leads are seriously innocent and so cute. They make such a cute couple and it's their second collaboration. I don't find it believable that Maruya would become the mysterious old man, besides the looks and even the height difference. I hope they show us a cute wedding and cute kids. :-)

Episode 6 is so good it keeps getting better. I love the romance between the characters and the main leads are so cute and innocent. Next episode preview is jaw-dropping. Have to wait another week.

Great episode 5. The last confession and kiss scene was great. Next episode we get to see a new Sanada look and looks like they are going for a nice date.

The director likes to put lines in different scenes in the previews. My guess is that they want to mislead us in to thinking she confesses to her old boss. I think the boss will confess to her but then she already kind of likes Maruya but doesn't how to express her feelings due to past experience (as her character description reveals). I am hoping Maruya confesses and she also reciprocates with a kiss then the awkwardness. Love this drama since it is so fun to watch.

Good take but then the last second preview of ep5 says otherwise :-)

Honestly this is a real gem. I look forward to watching it every weekend. There might be a nice surprise in next week's preview.

She is so pretty. I cannot wait to watch this series. Hopefully it airs soon.

It's a weird quirky storyline but somehow it is so fun to watch. I just love watching the ML's obsession with cuteness and FL's robotic personality. One episode per week is so long.

Any updates of this series? Hope they are sticking with this cast. I think WCR has potential but why isn't she getting more main roles?

Its a cute ending but I was left unsatisfied cause I wanted more.

I don't think we should be mad at her. She was partly the reason we got the last 2 minutes of this episode. We should be good. haha.
