I think the OP is referring to the rumours because before it was Q3 and then Q4 and now they are saying Q1 2023. It just keeps getting pushed back.

I think, this show will air against "The longest Promise" becoz both Reba and XZ have huge traffic.
This is what I think too but I did see a rumour that said tencent won’t air any more costume dramas this year after LLTG. We shall wait and see.

Isn’t the currently filming drama of Gong Jun, Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Yue Hong, planned to be aired in 2023?
That is a xianxia so it will have a lot of post production cgi work. Most likely scheduled for the end of 2023.

Chengyi will do this part of fox demon drama.
They going to make 3 shows from the same IP ‘Fox Spirit matchmaker’. They will portray different characters/arcs. Gong Jun and Yang Mi are in the Yue Hong arc. Which is filming right now. Wang Quan arc and Zhu Ye arc are in the planning stages. They don’t have a cast yet.

Nope. The producer was responding to a fan asking if they have to re submit the show because of that rule but the response was what I said above. Not necessary because they haven’t submitted it in the first place.
