Actually with some novel spoilers I've seen I already suspected it'd end this way and it actually did. I was EXTREMELY rooting for a complete closure for MaoTou and JiayUe Like I wanted to see them DATING! like In a romantic relationship even if they meet years again!! But no! we weren't even told they would be in love! like Cdrama this isn't the first time you're changing drama from novel so a minor adjustment wouldn't kill you!! like I needed them together!! even if it's one more episode!! give it to us since you gave us ChenMo and XH. this isn't too much to ask since their chemistry was already Fire. He liked her for long I mean he should get his happy ending since you already implied they might!! but what the hell???
and Ok as if that wasn't enough, In the end you didn't even let her tell her friend group that MT was the guy she was chatting for years???? hello?? that would be exciting. And we didn't even see their conversation in the coffee shop or something. At least! gosh I was so pissed off with that ending that sorta felt abrupt honestly 😭😭 Ahhh Jeez. Years of rooting for these two went down the drain like that I am NOT HAPPY WITH THIS ENDING and would prefer writing a new novel about them😭😭
