One thing I always do when watching dramas with flawed characters and stuff is put on the mindset "A Story is a portay of human beings. HUMAN beings are like this (main Lead or not) and we're simply getting that portay " So basically that's it. They're flawed but so are millions of people in the world. so The fact that these flawed humans are being shown on TV doesn't make us judges ( because so are we. flawed) Like I said ,The one to blame here is Yuzheng the producer.
I honestly have no problems because 40 EP feels like a chore with what I've been seeing mostly so I think 30 should be the standard of Cdrama at this point. They should work with 30 ep even if it means coming for a S2 later
