I came back to say I feel like people are forgetting that Ongsa and Sun are teenagers lol. Both have their own flaws and are only 16 so of course they're gonna mess up at some points. Some of the hate for them is a bit.... stronger than it should be. Honestly the writers messed up by not giving Sun and Ongsa the screen time they should have. I think it would be better if the show just focused on Ongsasun and Aylinluna instead of giving us unnecessary scenes of other characters not many people care about.
Why did they make Sun out Ongsa? I understand her parents are accepting, but not everyone is the same. By the looks of it, Ongsa's parents aren't homophobic, but that doesn't mean you can just out someone. My mom is accepting but I'm still not comfortable enough to come out to her. It's even worse that people are acting like Ongsa was the one who messed up and that Sun deserves better. I really hope this isn't the reason they break up.
Aylin is definitely my favourite character. One thing i am confused about though, is is she autistic? I assumed she was but other people don't seem to think she is.
at the beginning i joked to myself "this better not end up just being one of the worst tropes in history" and my joke ended up right😵💫 aside from the questionable writing decisions and stupid characters, it was a decent show. I binged through it quickly because it makes you feel very invested in it. we need a season 2
tbh from all the reviews, i expected a lot worse. this season was kinda confusing at some parts but it wasn't terrible. the soldiers really did carry this season tho
I loved this much more than i expected to. I usually take ages to watch shows this long, but i easily binged it this time. Amazing and made me tear up a few times
Maybe it's just me but the chemistry between the leads just wasn't there for me and they had more of a best friend vibe. The ending was sort of rushed, but other than that i enjoyed it
