I decided to watch this for the main female lead actress, but I hate love triangles too much, so I guess I will watch this when I am sure about how bad the love triangle is on this one...

I have only watched one episode and I can already tell that this show is really good!

This is what a Rom com looks like. I thought I would be annoyed by the male character "abuse" or how childish he is, but he is not abusive, he is just demanding and fits perfectly with the comedy, and he being childish "at home" and "in private" is refreshing since that's how people are, instead of playing another role where the guy is perfect and flawless in public and in private!

And their interactions are cute and funny, to the point that I feel like maybe I found one drama where I don't feel like rushing until they "get together" to catch some romance!

I honestly don't know how many people can like love triangles so much that they have to waste time on this every time. I understand some love triangles contribute to the plot, character development or even pushing the main leads together. And yes, the drama may appeal to some people, but when you take that much time, you even get people shipping them together and with second lead syndrome... why waste so much time in a pair that won't be endgame, besides, after showing us so much interaction and flirting the actual thing does not feel exclusive or authentic...

For me, is not even about making the shows shorter, it is about wasting money and time on things that don't even contribute that much to the story of these C-Dramas. Side characters are good to break things a little, and a "little" is more than enough. The saddest part is that those scenes and sometimes full episodes could have been used for plot or character development, or even to show us more romance overall ...

I actually appreciate that he is the way he is! We get the same or worse behavior from second male leads all around Dramaland. They are constantly interrupting or blocking the progress between the main leads, so I feel like having the male lead doing these things instead for once, considering that he gets a pass for being the male lead, is something that I like!

Additionally, having so many second male leads intruding into the female lead life making the viewer waste their time because we all know that the main leads are supposed to end up together, this time, the one pushing forward is the actual male lead! That makes me happy!

That's my favorite part! There are two many dramas where the girl does something bad or straight break up with the male lead, but for some reason, it is the male lead who has to chase the female lead all over again, and even has to go through humiliation and punishment until the female lead feels like giving him a chance and forgive him even if he did nothing wrong...

I am confused now.. who is supposed to be the male lead now..?

I agree with everything you said, I was unfortunate enough to finish this one, and ended up being disappointed. The male lead has no personality and no backbone, he is not a good husband material in my opinion. The female lead, like you said seems like she want a family but most of her decisions go the opposite way; and there is no way the brother was pretending all the time for the good of the male lead, that's just not true, he was an annoying ass**le from the beginning!

Incredible enough, I did not like the second female lead at first, but I found her so beautiful and the all other characters seem only to grow more and more boring or just full of nonsense, that I ended up loving the second female lead, her face, her voice, her wardrobe, but the only thing I didn't like about her was her crush on that boring and uniteresting male lead...

This show could have been so much better...

I feel like they could have done something different with the female lead in the last episodes... like shows us how she was becoming a good wife or something. The whole thing with the wife going away for work was unnecessary, and some scenes about the woodworking thing were extremely boring...

That's just sad... I understand that some people like to suffer and watch a romance that is not meant to be. I say this for the huge group of people that like to ship the female lead with the second male lead, when we all know that it is "main leads" who are supposed to be together, so any other romance interaction, if not for character development or plot progress is literally useless and only contributes to the angst level of the show ...

I don't like Love Triangles in general, unless they serve a purpose, or literally exist to either be rejected or to push the leads together.

But I specially hate those where the third person is a friend or family member, that's a horrible thing.

That sounds a bit sad... Do they ever break up? Or do they survive everything that's trying to pull them apart?

I agree that this could have added value to the ending, but I still consider it a good ending...

Hey Guy! Maybe you can help me with this one! I found a funny video on Instagram where they joke with the usual mindset of the rich male lead that instead of choosing the rich or popular female lead, they choose the poor one! While I completely understand the appeal behind those shows, I sometimes feel bad for the second female lead, because they are only bad because the writers make them bad, but in reality, they (most of the time) are a perfect match for the male lead!

Please recommend me a show where the male lead is rich, and the female lead has the profile often used for second female lead as rich girl. If the show has no break up or a very short one, even better! Thanks in advance!

Yes, I agree with you. I strongly believe that the male lead would sacrifice his feelings if she didn't like him or if she kept her distance. Maybe he would have been unhappy for some time, but I believe that being the way he is, he would most definitely found someone else after sometime, but on the other hand, she would live with regret for the rest of her life
