Last SummerDynamite kissPositively YoursOur Universe... What's wrong with Kdramas lately and their giving so much…
I was going to wait for all of the episodes to be out, but the complaints are so many, that I cannot wait anymore. I need to see this with my own eyes, but I am fully prepared to skip SML anyway... hehehe
From the opening itself of the drama, it is clear who the main leads are, so pulling something like that would…
I can think of two possibilities... one is that the writers ran out of ideas, so simply add a love triangle to drag things out, and/or that they are betting on getting people upset to attract attention since positive or negative attention is still numbers for them.
I am not even watching yet, but this is what I think will happen on episode 9, and why while it is the best next…
FL will miss ML, and maybe will consider that it is only because of the baby, but will soon realize that it is not just the baby, but that she is missing him. She will also have a chance to consider SML without the ML in the way, and will realize that what she thinks she feels for SML is basically nostalgia and her reminiscing of what they had or could have had, and the best possible scenario is that by the end of the episode she starts dating ML, since we are running out of episodes. The problem is that it will be hard to believe that she suddenly is in love with ML, especially after having a literal date with this other dude, and after allowing him to insert himself into her private life and what's even more sensitive, the life of her nephew. I am just throwing theories here, and I will know if I am right or not when all episodes are out, and I finally watch this one (of course, skipping SML).
I am not even watching yet, but this is what I think will happen on episode 9, and why while it is the best next step, it will feel incomplete and underdeveloped.
This will not be the first oneBut at this point that’s the best outcomeI don’t want to see the ml and fl get…
Which is why I don't like these love triangles where the other guy gets too much screentime. I do think they end up together, which is why we are moving on to creating a scenario where she will miss him and maybe start realizing that he is the one. However, the more time that is wasted on SML the less time to develop the main couple, and to immerse us into their romance, at least to make it believable.
I don't understand the hate the 2ML got. What did he do wrong besides loving Hyunjin way back in university era?…
What's wrong you ask? What's wrong is that a romance show is about the "protagonists", therefore, we prefer to watch them interact, fall in love, get together and stay together until their happy ending while they navigate the plot. This means, that most people don't want to watch this other dude with the girl, but the actual protagonist...
If I ever watch this, I would skip all scenes with SML, but according to comments, he has so much screentime that I'll end up watching the whole thing in 30 minutes... 🫣
Hey Everyone! "Positively Yours" has a very short break up!
The show is a cliche fest with an annoying love triangle that drags for way too long, a villain that is literally allowed to do whatever she wants until the end and no reason why the main leads couldn't be together before episode 8. Overall, I consider this either a filler drama or a drama for when you want to watch something without taking anything seriously at all. The break up is literally like 10 to 15 minutes, and there is no real heartbreak there (if I remember correctly, it happens on episode 9 or 10)
I could be wrong, but I have always been under the impression with period dramas that a marriage is considered…
I believe you are correct. My point is against the "fake" label. In this case, "fake marriage" is almost trying to minimize or romanticize the whole thing, but they are straight up commiting fraud. The moment it becomes legal, you are married, but if you are intentions are not towards actual marriage, then you are still married, but also committing fraud and without consumation, in some countries that might be ground for annulment.
The whole concept of "fake marriage" is nonsense in most dramas, because if you got legally married, you are married to that person regardless if you like the person or not. Fake marriage trope only make sense when the couple is only pretending to be married, but of you did it legally, you are married! On the other hand, what you do with your marriage life is up to the two of you, but calling it fake, doesn't mean that you are not actually married, so the least you should show is respect to each other.
