While I also believe that others have died for less, it is also true that characters that practice martial arts in this kind of stories also walk on water and fight 20 people at the same time, so if you consider the fantasy elements you may find it possible within their universe.

The prime minister has shown his true colors too many times to still be allowed to be alive. The only reason he is alive and having enough power to do everything he is doing is plot armor ...

And.. does the traitor so called best friend just asked the first prince and successor to the emperor if his live is worth more..? OF COURSE IT IS... HE IS THE PRINCE... Hahahahaha, it is so bad that it is funny...

Also, maybe is because the setup and storytelling needs more, but the motivations for the traitors can't be weaker... specially if they really lived in a world as raw as those times would be in real life...

For example, the whole thing about the prime minister pushing for a crown prince when his main candidate is his own grandson screams corruption, but they want to show it like a strategic political move or something and that's beyond ridiculous... This whole thing is stupid, but I am here for the romance, so I will stay for now.

I am on episode 12, and I couldn't agree more. She turns against the brother that would die for her for a guy that she got a crush on years ago, and someone who did not and still doesn't show any interest in her...

I understand that the brothers and the possessive prince were close to her, but I couldn't care less about her reconnecting with them or trying to remember them.
