Good Point! I just started watching this, so I don't know who to side in this thread yet, but regardless, it is good to recognize that every scene has a purpose in a show, and specially in Dramaland. It is not an exaggeration to say that a smile and spending time with a guy carries emotions, since we all should know by now how relevant small gestures are in K-Dramas and C-Dramas. The fact alone of the camera focusing on something specific means something, and a girl's smile towards something that the production has made sure that the viewer know that has a romantic interest on the girl is not a coincidence, and is meant to show that she is at least comfortable with the guy's approach. I do hope that this is something small, or I'll end up skipping or dropping if it is too bad.

I don't understand why there are so many people who either genuinely do not know what a love triangle is or are lying to themselves. I like to do some research about the dramas that I want to watch, and part of that is reading comments, but we cannot trust anyone anymore just claiming that the show has no love triangles only to have love triangles all over the show.
You are correct, a love triangle is whenever two people an interested in the same person, and you know that this is intentional because every scene in a show or movie has meaning, and in Dramaland you can tell whenever the production shines a light on a love triangle from scenes like the other guy seeing the girl in slow motion to literally fighting for the girl with the actual boyfriend later on.

This is yet another case of Second Lead Syndrome. For these people, it doesn't matter what the girl choice is because they like the other guy and they decided that they should be together, even though the guy is not the protagonist, therefore, he is not meant to be with her anyway...

The poor kid was an orphan and was going through hard times, but instead of trying to educate him, they antagonize him to a point that they forced "a child" to experience abandonment all over again, face the world alone from a young age, only to make it as an amazing adult but have the same adults that could have been his guide as a person and athlete to blame him for the mistakes of a child... that makes no sense to me.
