i hate love triangle everywhere... i dont like annoying sml/stalker...terrible childish plot in too many cdrama/kdrama....…
Hey Nicola! I also hate love triangles, and yes, the love triangle in this show is front and center of the show. The main couple have good chemistry and "Ra Eun Ho" (FL) only seems to have for "Hyun Tae Woon" (ML), but you should get ready for a lot of screentime with "Song Dae Hui" (SML). The show is worth it "for a school drama". There are some plot holes, but I don't think this kind of dramas is supposed to be taken seriously. The show is good, and there are worse love triangles out there.
If there is something I have learned from K-Dramas, C-Dramas and Japanese dramas is that different from telenovelas where physical contact is everything, romance and true love can be shown in many different ways; from a stare, to thinking about that person, to caring about that person, to puting that person before you!
I thought this trend started in recent modern dramas. So,it was also a plot device in old drams too?
I may be wrong, but having a plan B or just an admirer is something many girls seems to want for themselves. On the other hand, if it was the guy who keeps a girl that is in love with him around, hell would break loose.
I watched this years ago, and I loved it! However, with my current experience in Dramaland, I strongly recommend…
I see where you are coming from, but second chances can be a beautiful thing! I believe that some people do care, but take things for granted, which if acknowledged on time could allow a second chance.
I am sorry but after his assault to that poor girl, there is not enough redemption for him. He deserves to be…
Until I see him repent for what he did, apologize to the girl and/or any other possible victims publicly and actually change into a better person, he deserves everything he gets.
The answer is simple, but you are still correct in your argument. The relationship between Dal mi and Ji Pyung…
The jerk even lies to Do San after he comes back and tells him that he is dating Dal Mi, who is dumb enough to decide to not clear the misunderstanding because he is leaving... SMH
what I don't understand is the relationship between Dal Mi and han Ji pyung. at a time she's with do san and at…
The answer is simple, but you are still correct in your argument.
The relationship between Dal mi and Ji Pyung is that they were both their first love, or are they?
For Ji Pyung, yes, she was his first love, but her first love was never real. Like you mentioned before, he did deliver the letters, but he never really wrote or express himself through those letters. Ji Pyung was nothing more than a messenger, who had a little crush on this girl.
Fast forward to the future, and Dal Mi has precious memories of what she thought was her first love. On the other hand, Ji Pyung was not in love with her, and we know this because he never reached out to her or show any interest.
I hate love triangles, and characters like Ji Pyung are guilty of that. He starts helping her out of guilt because he never paid granny back for her sacrifices and affection when she was the only thing he had. He only starts getting interested on Dal Mi because he is delusional I believes that it should be him, when he was just impersonating somebody else from the beginning.
On the other hand, Dal Mi approached Nam Do San because she thought he was her first love, but we can see very quickly how she starts falling for his true self while he falls for her as well.
The love triangle plays an important role in the story because it is thanks to the granny schemes and Ji Pyung guilt conscience that Dal Mi and Do San make contact, however, that does not justify that while both main leads had already developed feelings that everyone could notice and see, this guy would try so hard to push himself into her life when he couldn't care less when she really needed help.
This show has one of the best endings for me, and the main leads romance and progress in the industry is beyond amazing, but the love triangle alone, specially during the second half is the biggest obstacle for me ever rewatching this one again!
Do you know if the main leads of Season 3, date and break up in season 2?
After reading a little bit about this show, it seems like there won't be huge conflics or angst, but I still feel like I should ask?
How is the romance here? Do they ever break up or get divorced after they get married? Do we have any love triangles? Sad ending?
