Police Investigating Lawsuits Filed by Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron’s Side… Whistleblower Report Also Assigned
[Seoul = Newsis] Reporter Cho Seong-ha – While police are concurrently investigating lawsuits filed by actor Kim Soo-hyun (35) and the late Kim Sae-ron’s (25) side, it has been confirmed that a whistleblower report filed against Kim Sae-ron’s family has also recently been assigned to the Gangnam Police Station.
At a regular press briefing on the morning of the 19th, Park Hyun-soo, acting chief of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, stated: “The case involving alleged violations of the Child Welfare Act, filed by the late Kim Sae-ron’s side, is currently under investigation by the Women and Juvenile Serious Crime Team at Gangnam Police Station. Meanwhile, the case filed by Kim Soo-hyun’s side regarding suspected AI voice manipulation is being handled by the Investigation Division of the same station.”
According to the police, the lawsuit filed by Kim Soo-hyun’s side is currently in the process of scheduling interviews with the plaintiff, while the accused has not yet been questioned.
During the briefing, police revealed that a total of seven related cases had been submitted by Kim Soo-hyun’s side, and three by Kim Sae-ron’s side.
In addition, the whistleblower report transferred from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission against attorney Bu Ji-seok—legal representative of Kim Sae-ron’s family—was officially assigned to the Investigation Division of Gangnam Police Station on the 16th.
The whistleblower claims that attorney Bu may have provided inappropriate legal counsel during his representation of the bereaved family, or may have been involved in the case as a co-conspirator.

A man identified as "A," who provided the family of the late actress Kim Sae-ron with a recording containing one-sided claims, alleged he was attacked by assailants in New Jersey. However, this claim has been proven false.
According to the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in New York on the 19th, there have been no incidents reported in their jurisdiction of a South Korean national being arrested for crimes such as attempted murder against another Korean national abroad.
The consulate stated, “Under Article 36 of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, if a South Korean citizen is arrested or detained, local law enforcement authorities are obligated to notify the consulate without delay.” They added, “As of now, we have received no such notification from local law enforcement.” This means the alleged incident was never even reported to local authorities.
Regarding the claim that the FBI is investigating the supposed attack on "A," the consulate responded, “That is not information our office possesses or manages,” distancing themselves from the claim.
Earlier, Kim Se-ui, head of the YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute, held a press conference on May 7 at the Space Share Samseong Center in Seoul, where he claimed that "A" had recently been attacked by two individuals—one Korean and one Chinese. Kim released their alleged identities, saying, “A was stabbed nine times in the neck. Fortunately, the assailants were arrested by police.”
Kim also asserted that actor Kim Soo-hyun was behind the attack, stating, “We obtained the attackers’ phone records from U.S. police and the FBI. This is clearly a premeditated crime—an attempted murder orchestrated by Kim Soo-hyun. The FBI is currently investigating.”
On the same day, Kim released a video on YouTube showing "A’s" current condition. However, despite originally claiming to have been stabbed in the neck nine times, "A" suddenly changed his statement, saying he injured his arm instead.
Doubts have also been raised regarding the medical report provided by "A." The report states that he sustained deep lacerations to his right shoulder and left hand. There is no mention of injuries to the upper right arm or neck, as claimed by both "A" and Kim Se-ui.
"A" is the individual who claimed that Kim Sae-ron had confided in him about her alleged relationship with actor Kim Soo-hyun. He provided Garo Sero Institute with a recorded audio file containing Kim Sae-ron’s voice, in which she allegedly stated that she dated Kim Soo-hyun in 2015, when she was a minor.
However, the authenticity of the recording has come under suspicion. On May 7, journalist-turned-YouTuber Lee Jin-ho held a press conference and released a forensic report concluding that the recording had been manipulated.
Lee explained, “The audio in question was found to be AI-generated and further altered by a third party—‘A’—who added his own voice and background noise. It’s astonishing how advanced AI technology has become.” He added, “This individual also approached not only me but Kim Soo-hyun’s side, demanding a large sum of money. I have confirmed that Kim Soo-hyun’s team reviewed the recording and then dismissed it outright.”
Maybe the REAL victim should find justice? There is only one victim in this whole drama and that is the late KSR.…
They are many people who die on people's birthdays Even other mother's die on the day they give is it the kids problem. So if Sae Ron died on Kim Soo hyun's birthday it's the day she choose to die and there's a conflict she might have committed suicide on 15 and she was found on 16th. So what's the problem. If you truly want her Justice for her please stick to the first narrative of where u said Kim Soo hyun dated her as a minor 😌😌 has he took things they should take also their evidences to court 😌😌. They wanted public opinion I hope the court is live for public opinion 😆😆😆
we here for dramas but not this type of drama. pls take this elsewhere, regardless of which stance you take.
Let me tell you this I cried alot for Kim Sae Ron what did I gain nothing at all and here you are naming another person terms you don't understand. Even after someone showing u evidence you want to believe your delusions. Believe what you want Kim Soo hyun didn't kill her she killed herself coz of the same people like you her husband and parents. Age is just a number in dating. 19yrs old is old enough to date or get married. Coz they use 19 but most countries use 18 as adult so don't talk much you are ruining yourself. If Soo hyun dies now u will come back here and say he was such a good person. So stop teaching or showing your low IQ 😌😌 thanks
I forgot to tell you something 😬 as you wanted to inform you. As your daddy garo wanted public opinion I think the court trials should be made public for their public opinion 😌😌😌

I repeat it today also no one is perfect 👌 including you but the law is the judge not public opinion. Calling me and idiot makes look more of an idiot more than me😌😌😌 so know about both sides before judging

Ok let me also say this as am also a good person when I breakup with someone I don't give a damn shit about them coz we have more reasons why we separated and don't want others to know but keeping an exes pictures is also being unable to move on. Even if it's you u can't help them even if you want to. So I will judge him when he is ruled in courts of law instead of this public opinion. Am feminist too but wronging a man and using feminism is wrong they're some men who are feminists too. So in short terms those articles don't add anything on us here. We can Google for ourselves 😁
