Very effective revenge drama in which the smart, calm heroine sets the villains against each other and watches the carnage. .
Meanwhile, her heroic aunt is involved in a fight for the throne. The romance--and the handsome male lead--is understated but constantly present. The acting and directing are solid. Very satisfying if you don't mind low-key and methodical rather than bloody.

Note: This is tagged as available on Netflix but it doesn't seem to be, at least in the U.S.

I'm just happy to see Han Dong play a lead role. It's frustrating to see him play small parts when less skilled actors are given lead roles. Well, Chinese drama casting is often frustrating (for instance, poor, wasted Jeremy Tsui).
I wonder if Han Dong will keep doing short dramas and if he can find a short drama style that works for him and he enjoys.

It's nice to see him with a different leading lady and using different acting muscles. She's always solid.

I didn't know he had health issues; that's worrisome. I did think he looked haggard around the eyes, but I thought it might be weariness from the filming schedule.
