I enjoyed this more than most with this storyline. (Yeah, I skipped when the bullying started.) The leads worked and worked well together. If only the big, black, empty glasses frames hadn't showed up--so silly.

This one shows one of the best female/male friendships I've seen in a drama. It's really fun and lovely and bone deep. The drama is good, with a different plot than usual.

Anyway, I agree entirely: tragic!
Though I have come to prefer no kisses to kisses where the FL doesn't respond at all, except maybe with shocked eyes, while the ML does his best. It's like watching someone make out with a mannequin. (I try to be understanding, social norms and all, but I feel impatient about the waste--just go for it, honey! Spare us the agony of participating in your discomfort.)

Psychic! I am in the middle of it. You are very, very correct about Jin Jia Yu. He's a swoon inducer.
I had noticed dramas were backing away from more intense intimacy. Without meaning to come off as a voyeur, I don't enjoy that change as much as the new emphasis on women leaving abusive relationships. Ok, maybe I have become a voyeur. But I blame Jin Jia Yu and the rest of the gang who have raised kissing, etc., to an art form.

😀 Sometimes I really appreciate how wild verticals can be. I figure it is only a matter of time before the government steps in and levels everything out. Where will we get our gasps and giggles?

This post made me laugh. There are so many. And so many categories: cringe-inducingly childlike, damnably dense, perniciously passive, infuriatingly forgiving, unfathomably filial, soporifically suffering, nauseatingly noble, vapidly victimized... . It seems near impossible for them to write realistic, let alone strong, women.
