I am hoping the ML will grow some 👍 and especially stand up to his mother, what an absolute witch that woman is. Hopeful for their reunion as a couple and not really loving 2ML however he is a good guy to her so far.

I’m not frustrated, it is what it is, they are making a drama fleshed out by all of the misinformation between the leads. Im watching because I am excited to see when they all get together and be a family hopefully and put that horrible mother in her place 👍😅

It definitely was not his best character and he was definitely not very ingenious, I did enjoy the drama though and Chen Xiao’s acting as always.

I’m in agreement with your take on the FL role and the drama in general. It gets boring watching the same idol FL’s in every drama lately. Love this fresh take ❤️❤️❤️

He was also in costume drama The Ingenious One which was pretty good 👍 Although he is more Ingenious here 🤩 and Legend Of DuGu, I definitely prefer him in historical dramas.

This is exactly how I see the FL also and relationship with ML. You have explained it perfectly 👌 I usually have a problem with the cutesy FL trope but this FL is giving capable and strong and not cutesy and helpless.

I guess he could have been smarter and seen what his uncle was up to so thank you for enlightening me .

Oh your so right, he was one horrible father in Royal Nirvana, I still can’t work out why he treated his son like that, it makes distressed just thinking about him .

Yes its probably less enjoyable if the line delivery is off. Im usually concentrating on the subtitles so miss what you hear and see. Could it be because she is fairly new to our screens or is it like NingNong in EB just an all round annoying character?

I actually don’t mind this FL, Its so annoying when a character or actor takes the enjoyment oyt of a drama .I usually 🙄😬with some FL’s recently but I was pleasantly surprised. I hope it stays like this though 🤞as Im only 4 episodes in.
