Eh
Honestly where to begin? As an avid drama watcher I have seen my fair share of hot garbage shows. From the very first episode you can tell right from the start of what you’re about to get into. First the acting (-_-). In the nicest way possible it’s a no for me. Honestly lee (Days character) is a pretty decent actor. I like him in Tim Jai although that series was also a hard watch. This dude could really shoot off if he was given a decent show. His versatility while playing the character Day was noticeable and not bad. Frank however (itt), we’ll ummmmmmm. Honestly the sad part about it was frank did get better at acting in the show but that was in the second half of the last episode. What could be worse than Franks acting when he holds a main role? How about the that one P’s acting T T. Tbh I forgot his name (but if you watch it honey you’ll know right off about who I’m referring to) because the only thing memorable about him was his horrible acting and a terribly written revenge arc storyline for something he started? Please when he first appeared on the screen I wanted to gouge my eyes out from his acting. And someone should be ashamed they approved those scenes as well. The storyline? I don’t read synopsis because I’m crazy and just like the jump into shit and trust and believe when I found out what this story was about and the other stories this one is connected too I felt icky. For some disturbing reason in a lot of BLs rape is romanticized and that makes me uncomfortable. People who defend these types of shows and movies make me even more uncomfortable. Yes it’s fictional but considering the target audience which tends to be teenage/early female adults that feels very weird. Beside that one P’s revenge storyline that was so bad and the dude at the campsites storyline with itt I honestly don’t want to talk about this show anymore. The more I write the more irritated I’m starting to get.
Look this show was complete trash and I heard they’re trying to have another series but going backwards through the books and I genuinely hope they don’t because that’s even more disturbing than this plot line. If you like hot garbage this is definitely for you. I finished it and I did pause it several times during the last episode to question my life decisions. It’s okay for a one time watch definitely would never recommend or rewatch this again. If I’m being completely honest though it wasn’t like I was expecting anything good so ig I wasn’t disappointed . The final fight scene for this show wasn’t completely bad except for that slow mo punch scene between day and that one P. I wish I could erase that from my memory TT. And don’t get me started on the wardrobe decision for it itt TT. Every since I finished the show I’ve been getting tik toks of Lee and frank and their photo shoot. DO NOT BE FOOLED. They look great together and the photo shoot looks good but it doesn’t reflect the show or acting. Actually the only good thing from this show was the intro.

Slow and steady wins the race
Although the pacing to this drama feels slow, it is one of the better dramas out there. The plot is nothing new or unheard of but yet this drama still feels quite nice and fun. Naturally this story revolves around a past memory that sets their friendship apart so to speak so there are going to be flashbacks. The flashbacks are placed pretty well within the story. The side couple is cute and kinda just there lol but they cute. Actually this drama was just sweetness overload especially towards the end. You should watch.

Life Changing!
This was my first BL that I had watched other than call me by your name. I saw a tik tok edit and was like “oh man this looks hella good.” Went in blind because I don’t read synopsis^_^ and boy I was in for a wild ride.( ◠‿◠ ) Every since discovering this masterpiece I’ve been opened to the amazing world of Bl and really only watch BLs . I’ve been introduced to Jeff’s beautiful music and talents and the whole cast really! Worth every second. I wish I could rewatch it again for the first time. <3Was this review helpful to you?

Eh
*The main leads do not end up together but it is not sad either.*Ah yes I love the smell of unrequited love in the morning! I absolutely love JBLs and their use of blue hues. I was sucked in the beginning so fast because of the directors and screenwriters were apart of some of my favorite dramas being eternal yesterday and my personal weatherman, Jack o’frost but apparently I jumped the gun*insert crying emoji*.
Within the show we have multiple one sided crushes and unrequited loves *insert crying emoji.”
The cinematography is beautiful and OST is super catchy and pleasing to the ear HOWEVER, many times I fear I kept calling to BL because it felt like she wasn’t in the room with us*insert crying emoji*. Felt a little too hetero for my liking at some point and not even a feeling of bromance was to be found.
The storyline is so nonsensical until the last episode and by then I didn’t even want or feel the need to finish it tbh. I was disappointed with this drama unfortunately but we can’t win them all lol.

Angsty
Personally I am not a fan of these tropes with the step brother or adopted brother storyline but for some reason these same very ones keep putting me in a chokehold like Stay With Me *insert crying emoji*. The chemistry between the family dynamic feels so natural.Trigger warning potentially for people who have experienced familial abuse.
Some people think the storyline moved a little too fast at the end but I think it’s rather the opposite. Our main leads finally let themselves feel their emotions without any restraints and the rest is history.
Definitely a good laugh cry type drama.
Absolutely stunning and timeless!
Probably one of the best if not the best Taiwan dramas I’ve watched with such natural acting and chemistry!!!!

More like seeking shelter
Definitely have mixed feelings about this one.Don’t watch this if you’ll be fustrated with unanswered questions and open endings! Overall the story is a bit of a refresher in terms of the storyline dramas that are being aired right now. This one is as expected from a Korean bl to be more on the mature side.
At first I was thrown off with the flashbacks without much to differentiate between the past and present.
The drama feels a bit rushed and lacks being flushed out due to the short time in both amount of episodes and them the length of each episode.
Besides that the plot: the plot is something that draws me in. Two people brought together and bonding over their shitty families but ultimately are separated.
I wasn’t a big fan on the so many unanswered questions. The drama is too complex for such a short drama. This should’ve been a minimum of 8 episodes tbh.
Other than that, I’d watch it. There’s no big commitment to watching it and Jang Woo Young Is playing his role as a pushover too well *insert crying emoji.*

Cried like a baby
Where to even start? First and foremost the amount of times that I cried in this show is actually horrendous. Like babes I’m not even joking with you right now (actually tearing up rn). The acting: the acting was really good. Natural chemistry between all the actors. The characters: Kuhn Yai. Oh that sweet talking handsome man. Kuhn Yai will forever hold a special place in my heart. Jom was okay. The amount of times his character gave me anxiety in this show was too many. Actually the amount of anxiety Yai and Jom gave me throughout the show was WAY TOO MANY.
I loved the lesbian side story because we don’t get much WLW representation in general so THANK YOU for even just this side story. But the KISS! That’s was so unexpected but gladly appreciated. In BLs WLW relationships are terribly represented so I was so shocked at the good scenes with the side GL storyline.
The plot. This is where I have some unanswered questions. Throughout the story we are introduced to a bunch of things that you would think by the end would be of importance or have a role to play later on but a lot of things did in fact not mean anything. We are introduced to a ring that didn’t mean anything, a gift from Yai to Jom that looks like a time turner from Harry Potter and dreams that Jom had but never touched on. I definitely feel like the director could’ve done better. Jom found pictures in a chest from a new house project he took on in the beginning. Later we find out he drew them himself but when he rediscovers them after he comes back from the past it’s like they lose their value to us as a watcher because we’ve already seen Jom digging through the chest finding the drawings and gift.
Having Jom see “ghost” of himself and Yai from the past while being in the future and vice versa was confusing. Also the ending with there being some kind of threshold that allows past Yai and future Jom meet? Like I like a happy ending but wtf is that?
Why introduce a possible season two with some weird warrior timeline with a RIDICULOUS mustache for Yai and have him not know remember Jom but Jom remember him? Is Jom the same in every timeline but not Yai. Why not have The same Yai and Jom because that would make them feel like actual soulmates?
They could have easily made Jom wake up from a coma and had Yai as a doctor and they meet again like that. Or Yai could’ve been the new house owner of Joms new house project and had that as the ending. Would have been so much better.
Anyways rant over lol. It was a good show and highly underrated and ofc I’m hoping for a season two.

It took GMMTV long enough
Forever grateful for GMM tv to FINALLY give us a GL!!!! MilkLove are finally able to shine and girl we’ve been waiting for this since Bad Buddy*insert ugh emoji*.Super stoked that ViewJune also took the place of GeminiFourth(much love for them) because this is how we have a first healthy authentic GL!
The show is hilarious and fun and not cringy (thankfully). Between Milk doing such a good job at showcasing the feelings of a love stricken teenage girl and Aylin (views character and my personal fave) I cannot get enough.
After completing the show:
I did not like in the show how Sun outed three people and it was never actually addressed. As someone who is a part of the queer community, this is not something taken lightly no matter the context of the situation or if it was an accident. There were some great dialogue and scenes in this show but why exactly was this not addressed? GMMTV has been doing pretty great recently with important storylines and dialogue but this is their first GL and it already felt like a set back.
I hoped there would’ve been more scenes with them all just having fun and more scenes with Luna and Aylin. Let’s be honest if Gemini and Fourth were still casted, they would’ve had more scenes than what we got of Luna and Aylin.
ANYWAYS, don’t take the reviews to heart because the show was still cute and fun.
I hope GMMTV can see all the potential for other GL shows that they could produce that 23.5 has showcased.
Hopefully this is the start of a beautiful era of more GLs to come and finally giving Lesbians the same representation and love as they do for BLs.

Rushed but still eating it up.
Let me tell you about this one *insert giggle emoji*. Yes this show is rushed and should’ve been slated for a 12 ep series however it’s not terrible. When I first saw the cover for this drama I was intrigued. When I then read the synopsis I was like “ooh this is for me.” But when I registered that it was MeenPing acting I almost fainted. I just love everything about MeenPing. Visually together they’re beautiful and compliment each other so well but baby gworl the chemistry is just out of this world. At first when I saw Meen was going to be in a gang I was not skeptical but I also was not convinced. But let me just tell you the writers said fear not because Meen is not going to be no punk ass gangster jajajajajaja. Anyways there’s genuinely only one bad actor so far I forgot his name but you will know who I’m talking about because oh God his acting is SO BAD. I cringe EVERY TIME.It could have been better but I eat up anything MeenPing are in lmao.

There were some choices made.
Let’s be honest. This mini series left me quite disappointed. As someone who is a big fan of OnlyOneOf and specifically Nine and Mill well…What I liked: obviously I was super excited about Nine and Mill. They have always caught my attention. They have such natural chemistry and they always have me on the edge of my seat. The soundtrack was obviously 10/10.
What I didn’t like: Not a huge fan on the writing. I’ve seen many people say they didn’t like the acting when tbh it wasn’t even that bad. I’ve seen worse acting trust and believe. I liked how they incorporated the band mates but my god could the writing not have been just a little better?
Honestly we could've scrapped the angst storyline they wanted to give and just gave us more bonding moments and scenes between our two male leads.
I really hope this mini series won’t deter people away from this amazing group and for the future projects they will give us. There was a kiss scene and I wished it was placed differently with different circumstances revolved around the kiss but I’ll take what I can get. I’m not sure what budget they were running on but the main few issues I had with this mini is for the exact fact that it was a mini series and not long enough episode. If it was longer than most of the problems could’ve been fully fleshed and I’m sure the show would’ve had a better outcome with the watchers.
Overall, it’s a very short mini series with an amazing cast so it won’t kill you if you do or don’t watch the show. Anyways regardless stream OnlyOneOf music!

Really GAY
Yes this is technically a bromance but there is nothing bromance about this show. This show just screams GAY in all the BEST ways. I haven’t read the novel that it was adapted from but I’m loving the show! The acting is amazing and keeps you engaged. The show script itself is funny, sad, infuriating and all in between! I really feel the need to reiterate how GAY this show is*insert crying emotions*. I wished China didn’t have such strong censorship laws but if they didn’t then this show would’ve ended me.
I think it’s amazing though how great the chemistry main leads have. They can just look at each other and I feel like that did more than a passionate kiss.
Props to the writers and directors of the show with the sublet hints to all the gayness that couldn’t be openly displayed. There were so many times where I was pausing the show because I was squealing at how GAY the show was*insert laughing emoji*. Overall the show has a darker tone then most BLs but it’s also warm and fuzzy. The whole cast did a great job. Overall the show has many heartfelt, sad, hilarious, and tearjerker moments. One of the best dramas this year.

A cozy little story with natural chemistry
Yes you should watch this drama. It’s been a minute since I sat and binged watched a whole ass drama while smiling and kicking my feet and giggling. There was some parts where I wanted to punch my screen because the actors were playing their role too well but for the majority I was just vibing with the show.
I don’t understand why I saw some people complain about the main leads not having chemistry? This is one of the more natural dramas I’ve watched with great amazing chemistry. Anyways it’s a quick watch that will make you feel warm and cozy so watch it!!!

A train wreck with bad time pacing but at least there’s Chot!
Step by step or few steps backwards? I genuinely need to speak to the people in charge of this show. This was like a really terrible car wreck where you want to look away but just cannot. Time is seemingly up to one’s imagination in this story. It’s nonexistent apparently. Ae literally just getting pregnant and then miraculously being 30+ weeks and then randomly giving birth on the street. Then cut to her wedding day with no baby weight. It makes no sense but I guess they just want us to accept it. If time gaps weren’t enough of a problem well the acting is definitely something also. The main leads.. Acting wise both main leads could’ve done more but I will say the actor who plays Jeng made Pats character slightly believable. Pats character is a big crybaby and I know he cannot control the script but he can control his acting. Pat cries when he’s happy and when he’s sad and it wouldn’t be bad if he actually shedded some tears. Gave me war flashbacks to Pete (much love though) when he did love in the air.Character wise. From the beginning Pat irked my nerves and he just got worst throughout. Even with a 2year time leap he has no growth and still thinks the world revolves around himself. He needs to grow a backbone.
Ae and her friend prem. They’re some of the most selfish people in the show so it makes sense they’re best friends. She knew he was in love with her and basically kept stringing him along and he told her he liked her on her WEDDING day. I have no words.
I also have experienced my first distasteful comment in an Asian drama when referencing a western drama. Ae makes a comment about lily in Paris and body sizes. She talks about how even though she’s pregnant she’s still smaller than the MC (Lilly Collins). Lilly Collins has been very vocal on her anorexic and bulimia past. With it being 2023 you would think or at least hope the jokes about body sizes would’ve done ran out.
The Jaab and Jen storyline makes no absolute fucking sense. The writers of this show should receive an award for pulling off the impossible. I truly did not think they could make their storyline even more frustrating but they did up until the very end. I’m in disbelief that they made their storyline even more confusing and nonsensical. Genuinely baffled. The way their storyline goes makes you feel like you missed several chapters with them. I felt like I was watching another show and just started midway through. Jaab liked Jen but Jen had a boyfriend and then they kissed then avoided each other. Jen left and Jaab got a partner but is still pining over Jen? And they’re both sad and for what? Jen moved back home and months pass and hasn’t spoken to Jaab. Jaab spontaneously goes to visit Jen only to find Jen went to Japan. The writers give us absolutely nothing with them other than us seeing Jaab leave for Japan.
In the beginning I could not stand Put because he was manipulative but he’s one of the only characters that seemingly got a growth arc and I actually like him better in the end.
The Pat and Jengs storyline is another frustrating one. Jeng likes Pat but Pat is a big crybaby. Them getting together but being careless even though they have a boss/subordinate relationship.
And do not even get me started the Pat/Jen pity party scene. They had no reason to be acting that way.
Aside from that hot mess the love scenes were top tier and Jeng speaking English. Oooh boy it was getting hot in here. And Jeng working out. Yesssss ma’am I need to be cooled. Chot being the iconic character he is and giving me reasons to stay. Anyways watch it for Chot and Jeng and if you’re bored. Even the cute ass montage at the end is not enough to distract you from the train wreck this show was. Do not expect much between the filler episodes, plot holes and weird pacing of time.

A bright future
When I tell you that this has been such a fresh of breath air to the BL media I mean it. Est and his sky rocketing chemistry with William is probably top 5 in the thai bl industry for me right now.The story in itself was nothing revolutionary although very important topic about letting idols have their own private life should be a no brainer but the cast made it all the best. In my honest opinion I felt like the ending did fall short slightly only because they showcased more of a concert feel(which fits the story very well) when let’s be honest I was just wanting more of a ThamePo centered whole episode. Yes I know I was trying to be greedy lol.
I just adore them together very much and I have not ugly cried to a BL since To My Star 2.
Manifesting many more dramas with EstWliiam (no I really mean EstWilliam) and many years of work with them together!!!

Yes, Yes and YES
This season was definitely better than season one. All couples were splendid but you’ll definitely like two of three the best. The kisses were delicious and well done except for one of the main couple (who has the dude that looks just like seungmin from stray kids) who gave stiff kisses but where they lacked in kissing they had some of the sweetest moments giving us everything else. The show itself had good plots but I will say there was too much screen time for a certain character and it wouldn’t have been bad if only the writers and directors divulged and explored that certain storyline further. I still have many unanswered questions.
The actual editing of the show could have been a lot better. There were several scenes where you could see the boom mic and choppy editing with certain scenes where you can tell they were from several different takes.
Other than that everything else was well done. Especially the casting! So glad they got to explore and do more with the storyline and script this time around. Hopefully we’ll get more in the future!!!
