The subtitles for the uncut version of today’s episode on IQIYI are so awful today. Most of the time, it’s somewhat passable if it’s a new person doing it.
I’m Asian too, and I get it. You’re supposed to listen to an elder and get physical discipline when you’re out of line. But I stop standing there when I realize I don’t have to take it. That’s the American side. I won’t stand and get hit by anybody. You’ll best believe I will knock you out if you lay one finger on me. I broke the fly swatter, ran away, and called the cops on my parents. I know it’s different since I’m Asian American. But it makes me mad when I see this kind of discipline.
I’m like 2 and a half or 3 and a half episodes behind. I stop when Tonkla had a fight with Mark and went to Nakan for comfort. I watch some of the next episode but I stopped and haven’t gone back. I will go back but maybe wait until all episodes drop. I think that’s the reasoning for me. Like I’m waiting to see what Nakan does
What happened to his career? He needs a new manager. He has surrounded himself with the wrong people. Even Ohm got rid of his toxic Uncle and I’ve never been a fan of him. You had such a bright future and squandered it. Boun and Prem are way popular then him now and they just do fan meetings with GMMTV which isn’t right.
The one thing that bothers me about this series is they keep going after Da Hei even before he started working for the mob. Bai moved in with him. They act like Da Hei is the of the food chain when he’s a very looooowwww level lackey. I’m not even sure he knows what they do. He just knows he’s a guy from the neighborhood who helped with his sis surgery. I mean there’s tons of people ahead of him. This is the flaws is VBL’s BL is bad scripts
I’m disappointed with the show. The script is the problem. I was so looking forward to this series but so far it’s a let down. I think characters development is another issue. The first half kind of dragged. Introducing of Jimmy’s character (captain )wasn’t needed. Even though I like Mark & Ohm I don’t really see a connection in this series. They have a better one outside ironically 😂 There was some spots of sparks here and there but I just don’t see it in there characters Jay & Sant yet. Bromances have more sparks 😂
The theme song music video at the end was wild. I’m still laughing at it. Is this a new thing? Ossan's Love Thailand also did something similar, but that was a remake.
This company called VBL has been pumping out crappy series every few months. They been going for quantity rather than quality. Series like VIP Only, You Are Mine, Anti Reset
I don’t really think this is a sequel. Like I think it’s scenes left on the cutting room floor. They didn’t film anything new. Both episodes were pretty much about nothing. There was a huge chunk of time left at the end for behind the scenes. It’s kind of disappointing
