We all know and agree that NRTA doesn’t ban ZZH. Zhao Ge has been pn the shelf due to some copyright or some such, from what I saw. It was supposed to go out in Dec 2019, the same year with Investiture of the Gods, which was aired in Apr 2019. The two dramas derives from the same book. I’m not sure if the real reason ever become known…but the one that was aired had CCTV as one of the producers. And Zhao Ge was produced by Yu Zheng.

Never heard that ZZH incident being the cause for the drama on the shelf. It was just speculations. The drama was on shelf since 2019.

So, why is it that they can release Zhehan’s work in Japan but not in China?!?

It says the DVD series Blooms at Ruyi Pavillon will be released in Japan in July.
That is good news for Zhehan. However, that makes me wonder how it is possible. Does that mean the producers of this drama goes against CAPA and releases the DVD series in Japan? Or that they do it when it fits their agenda? There are lots of unanswered questions.

Same here. I never thought I would follow and support a Chinese celeb this much.
First, he got me with his affectionate eyes, superb acting and somewhat craziness in terms of emerging himself in the ZZS role. There are many analyses of his acting in WOH…there are many scenes in which he has no lines, but his expressions made us feel ZZS deeply. I have read the book too. And from the various WOH interviews, it showed he had read both the books and the scripts, had understood both roles ZZS and WKX in and out, which I can tell is not the same for his co-star…mayhaps because the co-star had too many projects…don’t know. But if you are a fan of the book, watch those interviews and you will see for yourself. He is definitely a dedicated actor / professional. (Note: This is my opinion after viewing those interviews.m; I had no idea who the two leads were before WOH.)

After WOH, I had dug out and watched his other works, shows, interviews. The more I see the more I like him as a person. Very positive, down to earth and hard working, from a humble and loving family. His dedication to acting showed in every role, and he was on a trajectory to become a great director one day if he chooses to do so. His input to his costars and the scenes created memorable moments in Legend of Yunxi and WOH, a few that I know of through various old interviews.

813 and after had turned me into his supporter and fan. He had gone through so much, but remained thoughtful and tried his best to protect his family, his friends, fans and other people around him. I’m grateful that he had survived the worst months. He needs to be protected. Such talented and brave young man has so much more to offer; and I will support him all the way.

Thank you for pointing that out! It is mind-blowing how complex his case is. Got to admire Zhehan for his courage to survive so far. He is not perfect, but let’s ask ourselves if we could do better in his shoes, at his age,, with just a few layers of malice that were known so far…the real thing is definitely worse.

(I know there are people coming here on his page but not really his fans, some pretend to be his.)

The article is long, but it has analysis about why there are still so-call fans who spread misinformation about Zhang Zhehan’s new fashion brand, his music manager, his mother’s teashop, his IG account…

The part that got me by surprise was that some KOLs actually make money off of fans of WOH. And with Zhehan braking the shipping, those KOLs can’t sell their products anymore. So, being paid or not, they will try to mute the real Zhehan, so that they can keep fans in this fantasy land, being their cash cows.

Sounds like Zhehan is not only being targeted by vicious competitors, but also third party who is making money from him being away from the spotlight, from him being muted. I hope he gets to clear his name soon, even if the battle is hard, the road is long.
