The romance in here wasn’t prioritized among the leads and it was such a breath of fresh air. The love build-up wasn’t anything grand, it eas silent and subtle. the politics and family drama were the icing on the cake. I enjoyed the ride.

I couldn’t stop smiling the whole time. The beauty of youth—cringy in the cutest ways. Lighthearted and simple, without the overcomplicated drama of a coming-of-age, first-love story. Its simplicity and silliness make it all the more charming and relatable.

Lee Chae Min’s improvement in acting is visibly delivered in this drama. Its a delight seeing his theatrical flair here.

It’s obvious everyone in this drama has their own stories to tell. I’m just saying her character, at the moment, overshadows any pity with pure annoyance. She acts all grumpy—except when it comes to her superiors. Her love for GaRam? No doubt about that. And that’s okay—I don’t need to love every main character to still enjoy a series. Besides, we’re only halfway through, so any prejudice will likely change. Like I said, though, the redemption arc for her better be worth it—especially with those three musketeers lol.

The character development for iJi is so annoyingly, excruciatingly slow lol. She acts all tough but is a total pushover and completely folds when it comes to the higher-ups. For a former nat player, she’s way too weak—especially mentally. She can’t even stand up for herself in front of her trainees. This redemption arc better be worth all this sh1t lol.

Jang Seung Jo is the saving grace of this drama. He’s a theater actor afterall- his portrayal of the character didn’t miss. if you’re not into the teeny-bop plastic surgical looking perfect male and female leads- this one’s for you. Lol. Makjang Thriller series. Kim Ha Neul will always be either a hit or miss in her series. Sadly, its a miss on this one.

Its a box-office hit in its mother country-SK. the top grossing film of 2025. And holds an 8.91 rating on Naver Movies, a 97% Golden Egg Score on CGV, and a 9.4 audience score on Lotte Cinema. This MDL rating is a joke. Lol

Young Woo is everywhere right now, but his acting and delivery in this series felt weak and flimsy. There’s definitely room for improvement. Thankfully, he was surrounded by strong, seasoned actors who helped carry the weight of the scenes.

Thank you, Tastefully Yours! I watched it till the end—and what a fun ride it was. One thing’s for sure amid all the brouhaha: I’ll miss the quartet gang! We laughed, loved, got mad, felt disappointed, and ended on a bittersweet note. Honestly, it felt like going through a heartbreak—messy but meaningful. Not everything will go your way, and that’s part of the journey. And Let’s all just enjoy Ha Neul’s god-tier face card and unmatched theatrical flair—and Go Min Si casually serving barefaced beauty. Knowing how picky Ha Neul is with romance projects, this is probably our last romcom sighting for years. Lol. (insert OST: Kimchi and Smile)

The ones rating this movie poorly are mostly kids who are into ‘cutie-patootie’ plots and the same old lame romantic dramas with plastic-looking male leads who are only famous on Instagram. lol

whenever he presents a screenplay- it turns out to be a masterpiece. He really is careful and meticulous in his works.

Rom-coms just aren’t for Go Min Si. I hope this will be her first and last in the genre—her acting here feels flat and unconvincing. Honestly, I’m only watching this for Kang Ha Neul. His micro-expressions, theatrical flair, strong screen presence, and experience are the redeeming qualities of this show. Disregarding his character in this drama- I just can’t bring myself to dislike the man; he’s very picky with his projects, especially romance dramas, so I’m not sure why he agreed to this one. Still, I’ll see it through. I’m enjoying it—thanks to him. lol

Nara’s character is insufferable. Right off the bat. They shouldn’t have gotten back together, considering the things they were into. Not convincing. If you look at it closely, their chemistry isn’t that great. It was just disguised in funny scenes.

This romcom doesn’t even deserve the 7.9ish rating that y’all gave. Lol. Get real, it deserves better than that.
