Yes agree, pacing and development could have been done smoother.

I have to say that I almost gave up on this season because the cases and character development were uncomfortable and I didn’t like the direction it was going.
But the last 2 Episodes wrapped it up brilliantly for me.
I understand what the season was about.
Especially how the end of S2 explained the end of S1.
At least that’s how I interpreted it.

TJC was phenomenal bringing in the complexity of the Shen Yi character and the cast delivered.

I think that he and his ChungWu camp got hold of these demons DNA and blood, and he cloned them. I’m the case of Fei, he was there plotting with Qing Ge to start the plague. So he must have gotten Fei’s blood and DNA then.
