In the novel (this is my own opinion/assumption from my observation, YuShi lovers doesn't attack me) I feel like she'd never would put Qin lie in her eyes if she didn't know Qin Lie was actually clear in the mind. (In the beginning, Qin Lie was in a mindless cultivation state which caused him to not be aware of his surroundings so everyone hated him bc he was a "fool")
I mean why didn't she never cared about Qin Lie before when she didn't know?? She only acted generous and kind after she knew he isn't a fool. When she became his fiancé, at first she was very melo about it. Her attitude started changed when Qin Lie used a bunch of valuables and cultivation buffing pills as the engagement gift!!
