The king seems to be able to talk a good game but when it comes down to it .. he can't bring himself to sleep with that brat. Also no kid from a union with her would be a good person. Look who the mother would be and look how the rest of the family are.
At least at kid with Lady Park would be raised with grace and kindness and with her as its mother would learn how to treat the people that serve them. A kid with Lady C would be a tyrant in the making. Also being with Lady C would bring out the worst in the king. Besides... I think that the king's days would be numbered if that were to happen. For sure that the Minister of War would make sure he ended up dead somehow.

Lmao It's a good show BUT Having a root canal would be less painful than having to sit through the torture of the repetitiveness of this show for 5 days a week till it ends in September.

Another thought.......could be Park Gye Won not so much trying to kill her but setting it up like an assassination plot that he just happened to see the arrow coming and pull her out of the line of fire just in time to try to get himself in the good graces with the king by "so called" saving the life of the woman he loves. Or it could be something she set up herself..

I hate it when these tv shows whether kdrama or even my american shows...leave the end of tv shows hanging where you basically have to draw your own conclusions. Whether its an ending I'll like or one that I'll hate and end up bi**hing about. I'd still rather they have a proper ending. but that's just me🤷🏻😊
