That is really wrong and one of the things I hated to my core in the book. The guy who's body he has has long ago gotten lost in the shuffle. I really feel for the new Joe's mother. To never know that your actual son is dead. I do get it a bit but I thought that was really cruel in the books to let her go on not knowing her son is dead.

I loved it but I'm also unhappy with the ending. I don't like the he gave up on life like that. Kim Deuk Pal was as the older and I'm gonna say wiser should've pressed more during their interactions that he should live on. Of course he's not an old man but he should've pressed to him that he had a long life ahead of him and did more to help him not give up. I didn't feel sorry for her at all when he was stepping out on her when she ok'd it. Even getting her back up because he wanted to see the other woman because she had scheduling conflicts. Now the show is on the other foot and he's the one getting his back up about her doing her thing. That crazy chick.. I would've thought she would've tried to do something to her husband as well but she definitely has more than one screw not bolted in🤪 . Frankly the female lead and her husband deserve each other. They both made me want to punch them through my tv.
