Yes, there are people on chinese platforms like Weibo hating on ZLH's character Xie Zheng, claiming that his character…
Let’s just hope the government won’t create new censoring rules about actors and actresses looks for certain roles. After the “no rich CEO in love with poor girl” rule, I wouldn’t be surprised.
I just hope they don’t, because, being honest, I wouldn’t watch half of this c-dramas if it weren’t for the pretty faces (I’m shallow, sue me).

And I saw someone commenting how the hate when a really pretty FL is casted with a “not so handsome” ML, in a beauty and the beast style. Definitely agree with that. Women beauty standards are so unrealistic, but man aren’t affected as much.

Another thing I hate is when they cast an actor who is average, or sometimes even ugly, but then describe his character as very handsome, with girls falling left and right over him, like a true god’s gift to womankind. Like, we have eyes, he is not all that. If they want to portray the character like that, then find an actor that live up to it. Or change the story.

They wanted to keep the same male child actor they had imo. So it looks like a big age gap.
But at one point it is mentioned that she is 19. And it is also said that the ML has been fighting in the battlefield for 10 years. So I imagine he must be around 25, and started going to wars at 15. So that would make their age diference 6 years (so when he was 6, she was still in her mother belly).

it only has 2 episodes released so we don't know yet 😅
Ahh. Thanks. I saw no countdown for the next episode, so I thought it had ended already.

Title Shine on Me Spoiler
I disliked Zhuang Xu throughout the drama. I hated how he was a cowers and soo indecisive. But the scene I cried…
Everybody else deserved a bad ending, like Xi Guang’s father, Yu Sen’s cousins and uncles, the jealous roommate. The only one who still deserved to be happy, even though he made mistakes, was Zhuang azi.

Title Shine on Me Spoiler
I disliked Zhuang Xu throughout the drama. I hated how he was a cowers and soo indecisive. But the scene I cried the most was the airport scene. He seemed melancholic and sad to see her. Like he never moved on, and is still regretting the past.
As much as I wanted him to suffer a little, this was too much. Even though he made mistakes, he deserved to have a happy ending.
Its even sadder to think that they had soo many chances to work things out, but tiny things kept happening, and getting in the way.

I’m still holding my tears right now. He wasn’t a bad person, just had a tough life. He deserves happiness

It’s not my favorite drama, but it’s my conffort drama. It’s the one a rewatched the most, even though it’s not my favorite. I think it’s because it’s uncomplicated. No one is annoying, no villain, no misunderstanding, no trouble. Just nice things happening.
I see how some people may think it’s boring, but I think that’s what I like about it.
Some dramas have so much happening that i feel exhausted watching, and sometimes i even get anxiety watching them. Sometimes the story is so complicated, with soo much happening, that I end up dropping it and never coming back.

Just finished sniper butterfly, and so much happens in it, that I decided to rewatch this one before starting speed and love (another one that seems very eventful too). I need something light in between.

Yu Rong and Que Cha opening a cat cafe together is so cute. Happy they have a peaceful life after what they went…
Was I the only one who felt couple vibes when they walked off hand in hand?
