If by original you mean stories not based on existing characters in shows/movies? If so, not really (I wish I were that creative!). The closest is that I have a story set in the world of "Young Royals" (Swedish Netflix show) where I've created two original characters who interact with the show characters, and I have a spin-off story with just those two (they are a couple, naturally) but without the trigger of YR, I never would have written it.
Thanks! Yeah, I used to read more of it before I started writing but now it's a compulsion (so if I didn't write, I'd probably funnel that compulsion into watching BLs!) and reading it cuts into my writing time. There is DEFINITELY not enough time for everything so I hope you're right about prioritizing what brings each of us the most joy. 💜
Oh, I suspect I'm the outlier. 😄 There was no such thing as "binge-watching" in my day, so that's not my thing, and writing fanfic takes up the bulk of my free time so I don't prioritize watching things like the majority here do. Whatever works, I say!
