I'm not sure if I agree with "swayed" as much as Sand is falling into the trap of "I can/should be friends with my ex" or "he may be my ex but now he's my friend." I get that some people CAN actually be friends with their exes and that they are doing this in the show for DRAMA, it's a bit ridiculous.

His and Top's arc is my least favorite after starting off as the couple I was rooting for (until I realized how totally hot SandRay were). I wish they'd gone in some different direction with them.

Maybe! I mean, he did start off as an innocent and only "changed" when Top hooked up with Boston (a scene I still think is insanely hot) but deep down he still isn't a player. OR the writers didn't know what they were doing either. 😉

I actually thought, after this ep, that maybe it was a dream that Sand and Boeing came up with together, but I agree that it doesn't make it less special to do it with someone else, i.e. Ray.
