Maybe I'm going to be the odd one out here, but I'm actually hoping for a longer slow burn for them! For me, this is almost like MSP with adults, and I'm utterly charmed by them.
It might be another unpopular view but I don't see the CEO as being all that evil. Maybe I'd have to rewatch the first couple of eps but I thought she was pretty level-headed about what made good business sense, though yes, if she really did put Thame under a contract that was making him work for nothing (again, I'd have to rewatch for the details), that's obviously not good.
Considering this is the least GMMTV series I've ever seen GMMTV do, there might not be.

I realized after this fourth ep that we don't have a side couple yet. Is it remotely possible that there won't be one? I certainly wouldn't mind but I feel like GMMTV would be going against their usual m.o. by not having one.
