Just coming back here to say that while I had high hopes for the "4 Minutes" comment section, the Playboyy comments still win BY A MILE. Watching this ongoing and commenting afterwards was honestly the best MDL experience, and I miss all you guys. 😥😥

Right! Because while we're all entitled to opinions about the show, making personal attacks on users, like you said, is not right. Anyway, maybe if they have a bunch of other pages they comment on, they'll not come back here too often. 🤞🤞

I can't say I'd run into them before so I guess our tastes don't usually overlap, lucky me! I feel like this is how I hear things go on platforms like Twitter so it's too bad some users want to generate that kind of atmosphere here, but at least we have the option of blocking.

Hmm, interesting theory but can't say I'm quite on board with the previous one-night stand idea. I thought the general consensus was that those are flash forwards, not flashbacks, and would that also mean that Tyme was very drunk when the one-night stand happened? Because he doesn't seem to recognize Great when they run into each other and the papers get scattered, nor does he acknowledge it when they meet for the stitches. Of course, if you meant that this encounter was quite some time ago, then sure, maybe they both forgot, but not sure it works.

I'm not a gay man so can't really comment about the psychological bond, but sure, maybe that was his motivation. I'm glad Korn didn't grant his request, though.

Exactly! And maybe it would have been different if Tonkla had blurted out, "My brother just died!" but he didn't, so what was Korn supposed to think? I get that Tonkla was reaching out to the person he has feelings for but at that moment it wasn't a good time.

Because when I replied, I didn't actually remember Tonkla not wanting to use a condom, but I think that's because we both interpreted the line differently. I hadn't thought he'd meant "raw" as in "unprotected sex/no condom," I thought he'd meant "raw" as in "do it hard."

But yeah, if we go with the meaning of "raw" as in "no condom," maybe Korn didn't agree because he knew he was having sex with others and couldn't "guarantee" to Tonkla that he didn't have any sexually transmitted diseases, which is the "safety" I was talking about.

I do wonder if part of the confusion is about the translation, like if we knew Thai, would it be clearer what Tonkla meant by "raw."

Exactly! I mean, I'd probably react the same way if my spouse called me at exactly the wrong moment, and we're actually married. 😂

I'm not sure why all the hatred for Korn except that people feel he should have behaved differently.

Deserves? Each show is different and is being promoted to a completely different audience. And what has fairness got to do with any of this? Life isn't fair.

Totally agree with what you said and I don't think it's fair to compare the series' supposed popularity to each other, and for what?? They're both BLs but apples and oranges as far as I'm concerned. Personally I don't see the need to knock something down in order to build up something else.

Well, I also didn't get the impression that Tonkla and Korn were "together" in any "official" capacity, so it's not like Tonkla could have an expectation of fidelity. Of course, he reached out to Korn in a time of need and was rebuffed, but Korn couldn't have known why Tonkla was calling, and I'd assume he'll feel badly about it when/if he finds out (though who knows?).

And? I mean, Korn can't control the emotions of another person. It's up to Tonkla to break things off if he's in over his head.

I would agree about the childhood kitchen trauma...but why didn't this come up during the cupcake scene a few eps earlier? I feel like Atom was not confident about being in the kitchen but I didn't remember his fears being as strong and he was there at the stove stirring the melted chocolate daydreaming, so didn't seem very stressed about it. I'm all for a backstory that makes sense but not when it seems to contradict something we already saw.

Hmm, I hadn't thought of it like that. Since the situations keep involving people getting injured, they lead him to the hospital where he gets lucky that Dr. Tyme happens to be on duty. 😉😄
