I can't say I agree that GMMTV "never" has satisfying conclusions but I suppose that's also a matter of what each viewer finds satisfying.

I thought it would have made a bit more sense for the counselor to have used feminine pronouns while talking to Atom (when giving him advice about how to navigate the talking stage) if those are the kinds of assumptions he was going to make.

I agree with everything you wrote and I'd consider myself a pretty hardcore GemFourth fan, but I can recognize that the quality of MLMU isn't up to that of their other series, and hey, that's what happens sometimes. The boys did the best job they could with what they were given and with the direction, but not all of their work will be 10/10. I'm still enjoying it and will watch them in anything, but you're right, it's not perfect (though I will dispute your claim that "nothing's perfect" because for me MSP is 🥰).
