You clearly missed the whole point of the drama and a newbie to Xuanxias. Just like Xianxias, Xuanxias are not about happy endings…life itself isn’t always a happy ending. Tang Li Ci was to sacrifice his life from the begin to restore everything, why are you mad he actually did it? Instead of being negative here and ruining everyone’s mood go watch the drama with the ending you like😒😒😒

I think many of y'all are new to Xianxias, this is how they roll. The attractiveness of Xianxias lies in the beauty of how they portray love, hate, denial, betrayal, yearning and suffering. The heartbreak of star crossed lovers and the heavy fate of characters like Tang Li Ci. Xianxias have always given emotional depth, death, resurrection and acceptance. Tang Li Ci wanted everything to go back to what it was, so he paid the price of no longer living in their memories, that’s his choice that’s his fate. How beautiful and cruel. Everything about this drama makes it my favorite drama out this year🥳👏🏾🔥🤌🏾

I get why book readers are mad fr. I also read the book and was like why is my girl aura not auraring😭hopefully in this new script they do it properly. I still liked her character tho. I never thought she was clingy. She never stood in the way of Xiao Se but always protected him. That girl fought a whole army by herself. Let’s see how she turns out in season 2. Can’t believe we’re getting Guardians of Dafeng 2 before this🤦🏾‍♀️

Exactly, she’s an incredible actress. I think she fits the plot really well. She’s not a damsel in distress and she stood up and fought a whole army by herself. Like do people know that the diversity among characters is what makes wuxias so good. A Wuxia revolving around 2leads is one I will drop. Squad wuxias are the best. Even her relationship with Xiao Se isn’t a big part of the story. It’s also how a relationship between an extroverted woman and an introverted man will look like🤷🏾‍♀️ can’t wait to see how she glows up in season 2

Oooh How I’m already missing Fu YiXiao and Feng SuiGe😭😭😭this drama was everything and the sum. The enemy plot was enemying but how they turned it to lover was just chefs kiss. I love the pacing of the plot, the unfolding of the story, the chemistry was chemistrying and the visual interms of production were just🔥🤌🏾 My second favorite pair is the crazy emperor and the crazy princess…their chemistry of going off each others madness added so much color and comedic relief. All in all this show is amazing and I’ll be rewatching it over and over😌
