Well I watched it recently and though they take time , they arnt tiptoeing around each other during buffer period , so it’s sweet to watch them together. Before and after getting into relationship for them isn’t much different, their dynamic is same but with sprinkles of intimacy. But it’s definitely less than speed and love , love between the line

Totally agree , their chemistry is hot since ep 1 , if you can handle Esther voice being cute but she isn’t as shy so it’s a plus . But the plot is kinda ridiculous 😂 but well the ML is definitely hot with all that racing and fighting , that was the selling point

Same . Both the leads are so good looking in time and him are just right . It was my 1st drama of LYX much before I paid attention to the actors . Though the miscommunication troupe in middle definitely lowed the points a bit

Well for me it was too , until I watched shine on me . The fact that they added an epilogue ep definitely tops everything recently 😂

Damn at first I was worried I would be bored after seeing many comments butttttt surprising I wasn’t majority of times , whoever the leads were on screen I just couldn’t take my eyes of them ❤️.
You can see the love and respect they had for each other , through words and actions . The portrayal of their love was kinda realistic compared to many dramas . They were the real definition of couple who grow together .
ML was a whole green forest but I loved the fmc too .
I loved that fmc who herself exprerienced unsuccessful confession and was confused by the sml actions and words all the time never did the same to our ML , always made sure to convey her thoughts and clear any misunderstanding, told him never to apologise for confessing his feelings .😭

For people saying the she took quite some time to move on , well isn’t that normal ? Wasn’t the ML same , I mean he had it worse , even after 2 yrs and thinking of her as a kind of ‘villain’ he still gravitated to her . It’s not like she pushed boundaries or disturbed anyone . She knew who was good to her but that doesn’t mean you develop feelings for every good person around you , she needed time to fully invest in the ML before agreeing .

Well I loved that this drama showed the comparison of ML to SML , many dramas have ML who have personalities similar to SML here but FML still choose those who have belittled or hurt them and still wait for ?? I absolutely loved what FML said to SML while confronting him 👏🏻 that when Yusen came into her life , being true to his feelings , expressing properly , she didn’t need a choice anymore . That scene gotta be one of my fav

The first 4 eps were definitely tough to watch , seeing what fmc was going through , I really hoped she won’t forgive them and she didn’t 👏🏻 well she did have a superficial friendship. But who doesn’t have friend circles like that . But no real relationship.

God that’s why I am scared to start this , I made a mistake watching speed and love First , even love between the lines felt slow to me after 🥲🥲

It was maybe a 8.75/10 for me . The overall effect of the drama was pretty good , be it the characters , cinematography or plot . ( very few Cdramas are 8.5+ for me)
One thing I definitely wanna add is I love how the FMC was written , she is the definition of a cute yet mature lead!!! Knows how to communicate and avoid misunderstanding, also doesn’t hesitate to show affection to ML ❤️ , I would say I have seen very few FMC who take lead like she did .

Also I like that they didn’t completely darken Pei Zhan , the emotions he portrayed in the last eps when he gave up ….. I didn’t have 2nd lead syndrome until that point when he smiled , also small snippets of how he genuinely cared for our ML as a child but his psycho father ruined him for pity jealousy, who hits their 30 yr old son for such reasons ?.?
But I never rooted for him and fmc btw , I just wanted to see him break free from his father’s grip .

Well though the plot is kinda ridiculous with all those years apart buttttt the leads chemistry was what I came here for and it delivered, damn I watched those ep 15 , 16 , 17 on repeats 🤭🤫, I liked how the FMC took initiatives to cling to the ML too and she enjoys it , majority of times in dramas it’s always ML initiating things and the fmc isn’t that responsive.
The ML was damn hot but I kinda understand the fmc character and how she was written as a pampered princess but she isn’t ideal when necessary and that’s important.

What only 4 eps ?. I even forgot that it was gonna air until I saw clips of final lineup and shocked that it already concluded

Damn I just completed ep 9 and I was like 🤐😳 , it took a complete 180 turn , how are they gonna give them a happy ending now ?. It’s unthinkable the way Duan is acting like a psycho . I just want shuhe and doctor to live a free life at the end , that would be a happy ending for me , that’s what I cared for from the start . Sorry but I didn’t care about duan much .

Ok I completed it and gosh it was a wild ride in 2nd half , though the ending it painful it’s understandable, shuhe was a gentle soul who even though suffered the worst fate never lost his essence unlike duan , well duan was gonna die anyway at least shuehe chose his ending ,unlike all other times where he was left no choice , to have a peaceful dignified death as a fallen ruler rather than an escapee . Their love was painful and an entire nation suffered and that’s not gonna change . Well atleast they got a wedding and a happy afterlife ?!

It was melancholic and beautiful portrayed without negatively blaming any side , everyone have their sort of issues .
Who is to blame ?. Cheating is ofcourse non negotiable but which among the 4 will you say is the bad person cuz for me there where none but relationships are complicated even for a perfect person right .
Maybe running away from confrontation was what lead them to it but breaking up cuz of cheating rather than saying cuz they don’t have intimate relations is kinda fundamentally better in society .
The reason was perfectly summarised by that friend of Kaori in just a few lines .

Actually in terms of Intimacy it may be one of the best bl for me ( mind you not the relationship but just the skin ship ) , like the actors didn’t make it awkward at all compared to other bls where I kind of cringe watching especially the NG scenes.
Anyway I wanna ask what the hell is with the characters obsession with pushing others like that , kinda annoying for grown ups to do that . Omegaverse in name only sake , just treat it as a fantasy concept .
Well pavel is kinda really good at acting compared to other bl actors who are kinda awkward , and that why the intimacy between the leads was believable and that was the only aspect I kinda enjoyed even though the relationship was kinda toxic .

And no I am not gonna watch s2 , the things I have heard are enough to repel me. Btw waiting for goddess bless you from death to complete , so excited about that one

Well the manhwa is definitely one of my fav so the fact that’s the show is also one of my fav bl series makes sense 🤝

Agreed about namping

A 7.5/10 of me . It was definitely a good bl overall with great casts definitely romance was not the best part for me , even though I like the calm personalities of the leads , the awkwardness was depicted but until the end they didn’t feel like they got over the awkwardness especially Khem , there was a loss of sense of familiarity like between couples , but there were definitely some sweet moments especially in ep 8 , the second couple was better in this aspect .
I wouldn’t say anything about the NG scenes , I still find it hard to watch them without cringing even after watching so many bls .
Namping definitely has a lot of area to improve in acting , he was kinda just a sweet face guy for me sadly . And Master was definitely a danmei inspired character, with his styling 😂😂
Actress playing rhumpeng definitely had the best acting skills .

Actually he is helping him though he says otherwise typical cold exterior soft heart character .but he doesn’t want to get too close to him or give false hope , I think It’s mostly cuz of the curse , he doesn’t want to loose his lover like in their past life and he does that by being stern with him

Yeah they both were close so yeah he would want to debut together , he is the youngest it’s understandable. But seriously some people just stuff anyone in the group talent hardly matters to them .

These knetz just never stop . Hardly care about anything but boyish visuals . Do they have that much money to waste sending trucks and stuff .

Ok so the lineup was predictable, maybe ziahao was a bit surprising that he even ranked higher than LEO . Actually I would have been still sad no matter what for the remaining ones.
Butt I wanted either junmin or dongyuu . Maybe I was rooting for dongyuu more even though I knew the chances were super low because man got a nice voice and Harmonise well with Leo . Btw I saw dongyuu was much higher in Korean ranking rather tha. Global
Also junmin is in the same level as sangwon , the ult center . I hope their group does well with leejeong , wonjun and others .

But I am still sad that Leo won and anxin ziahao pair made it but junmin dongyuu pair didn’t 😭😭 . Dongyuu debut in a better group in future , I will wait for your debut .
I hope they get kind of a different concept than ZB1 , more on darker side maybe or sexy …
