There's no such thing about modern look or else, if she can deliver the role well so It's fine. Lee Soo Hyuk literally got modern vampire face but he's good in sageuk and got casted in here too. And It's not Joseon era, it's Goguryeo. Joseon women are always portrayed as graceful on tv or in movies. But the Goguryeo era more like tribe era kind of thing with so many war. No need graceful face like Joseon woman Era in drama
