I just read the synopsis, the story line is exactly like Amidist asnowstorm of love, well y'all will call me hater once again but this storyline is too difficult even almighty wulei couldn't carry it. Well to sound fair and reasonable I'll tell you. This drama won't be 40% as big as LGIEF and won't heat 10000 index. Remember I said it here first.

I don't know anything about this drama, I didn't follow Reuters, didn't read novel, didn't see trailer but I know one thing about Esther, she has an ability to carry drama and make her make leads famous but we've only seen that on customs. I personally like her more especially her voice. But linyi? Well let's hope everything goes well

Bjt is a good actor just that he took a script that isn't his niche. He said it himself, there are a lot of handsome, tall and resources actors who could have fit into this role very well, he also said the character sang yan is unfamiliar and unrelated to him and his daily life. He just acted what he thought it would be.

I'm disappointed with the casting chosen for this drama based on a famous book. The female lead lacks acting experience, and the male lead struggles to bring depth to his character and feelings. In the drama, Specifically, the portrayal of Sang Yan by Bjt misses the mark. In the novel, Sang yan exudes a calm, enigmatic presence, Sang Yan's demeanor is calm and serene, never angry or sad. Unlike the portrayal in BJT, his smile is subtle and nuanced , either a sincere smile for the female lead or his characteristic arrogant smirk.
To see what I mean, watch "Lighter and Princess" with Li Xun. He shows Sang Yan's personality better.

People who really know the book will agree with me that this drama doesn't get the characters right.
