Not bad of a drama, starting of the drama was fine, but started skipping more frequent in the last few episodes. Despite its flaws, I find it alright, but definitely a happy ending for once, something c dramas fail to deliver nowadays.

However, I wonder, not sure about you guys if you like the ending. Personally, I think it kinda should have ended at the site of the victory, or two lovers walk into the sunset...but c dramas are c dramas eh...got to kill of one of them and give us that typical (like sooooooo typical c drama) ending where Wu Geng travelled for g knows how long and ended at the scene where he must have found Bai Cai...'must have' refers to either you guess its her or not. Haish. Nonetheless, had a good run here. Worth the watch.
After 40 episodes, I must say, this is indeed a unique one. I like everyones role in there, its like each and every indicidual have a very beautiful emotional arc. Many twists and turn and Wow moments, and plenty of tears too. Overall, its a pretty good drama. Wonder if they will make a prequel for Hei Long and Bai Long, cause that will be interesting. So much to tell from their side of the story.
ooooh wait till you watch her part in Guardians of the Dafeng...her smile is just sooooo sweet
I can relate to that, took me some time to get used to her role in Dafeng, even double checked to see if its really her acting that role haha. Though, do keep in mind, you may find the scenes...a bit exaggerating, for me, I can accept it.
