As far as I know .. completion of the day's quota of shoot is solely based on how fast the previous shoot ends . If the first scene keep on dragging it will affect the upcoming scenes like a domino effect . Ending up in no time to shoot a particular scene in the later stages in the end . And also to shoot a portion of not ...or to insert a fly page ( filler scenes added at the last moment) is decided the previous night . They don't necessarily discuss this stuff infront of staff ( who are the source for all things reuters ) so yeah ..you can't say they intentionally kept the fans in the dark ..but they didn't follow the schedule they themselves set . Knowing the ways of the director ( who is known as perfectionist and slow one ) they didn't set things up accordingly. It's said that producer was MIA most of the times .

C Alasos have kept a excel sheet with all the scene , time duration taken to shoot and re shoots etc. 40 percent reshoot has taken place . They were supposed to shoot last half of the filing schedule in Hengdian which they couldn't. So they called the veteran actor who plays the emperor and shot his scenes in 1 day . ( I have myself have updated that reuters on X ) . When we fans raised our voice about it .. the agency silenced us with a warning that they will disband the FC. You have no idea ..how much went on during the filming of YOC. There is a reson it is called SEL 2.0
